Chapter 28

Swara walked... She kept running the events of earlier in her mind over  and over again. She couldn't believe how she could let this happen. How could she let Sanskar believe that she thought about him like that. He meant so much to her and now he wouldn't even listen to her to let her explain. And Ragini... She was helping Kavita  did she hate her that much? 

"Ragini, I thought we were closer than that. I  forgave you trying to kill me and then marrying Lakshay. I understood that we caused you so much pain when it came to it all. But I never would have thought that you would stoop to such great lengths to hurt me. What did I do yo deserve it all. In all this I need... I want my sister and it hurts knowing that she is on the other side. I one that I need is the one hurting me... Nothing is working out. It's all just a mess and I don't know what to do..." Cried Swara. 

Thinking all this she couldn't move anymore. She couldn't take it all. She broke down and couldn't stop the tears any longer. She fell to the ground.... 

At the back, Ragini watched from a distance. It felt like hundreds of knives were stabbing her and she couldn't do anything about it. Watching her sister breakdown was painful. Watching her cry and knowing that she couldn't do anything was all too much. As Swara went to her knees in tears, at that moment so did Rangini. The both hit the ground at the same time. Both in tears. 

Someone put a hand on Ragini's shoulders and slowly she turned to look up. It was her mum Sharamistha. She knelt down and gave her a hug. Hugging her back she started to cry. She couldn't stop herself. 

"Ma, I want to fix this all. This is all my fault and I wish I never was told that I was marrying Lakshay, I never fell for him and I never hurt my sister in the first place. This all started when I made that decision of fighting for my love," cried Ragini. 

"No, don't blame yourself. Lakshay and Swara weren't meant to be together from the beginning. You were as she had Sanskar in her fate. Now this all isn't your fault either. It depends on what you do to make it better is the main point," said Sharamistha. 

"I want to help and make it all better but I don't know how. Everything  is falling apart and Swara is losing." 

"It's ok, as long as you don't lose hope and stop trying... It's all ok. I have taught my daughter to be strong. Just like you are. You went through so much and yet you still stand." 

At this Ragini stopped crying and wiped away the tears and got up. She smiled at Sharamistha and nodded. She turned to Swara who was still breaking down and smiled. 

"I promise Ma that I will fix this all. I will do eveything  possible in my power to make this all right for her. I'll be that wall that she leans on and I'll be that wall that is in between Kavita and her. I will be that wall that protects her from the pain and anger," said Ragini and then she walked away. 

Sharamistha smiled and went to her other daughter to comfort her.

"So that's how strong your love for my sister is?" Asked Ragini coming into Sanskar's room. 

There Sanskar and Lakshay were talking about what had happened at the temple. They both looked up at her. She looked hurt and angry as she came in. 

"Answer me Sanskar. I thought you loved my sister so much that you were willing to do anything. You said that she was the one and only perosn that understood you understood her. Was it all lies or truth?" 

"Ragini, are you doubting his feeling for Swara. I think he has more care for her than you," snapped Lakshay. 

"I tired of having to explain to you and all that I love my sister. Yes what I did wasn't the right thing but I do care for her and I can't see her upset. And I'm not doubting his love for her. Just not sure if he truly believes that Swara would ever say anything like that about him."

"I thought that she loved me. I still do and I still want that happy ending for us both." 

"Then  don't stop fighting for her. Believe that your love is enough for each other," said Ragini. "I thought that after all that has happened at least your love and trust for each other is stronger than that. I didn't know that just one huddle and you would give up." 

"I never gave up on her on us," said Sanskar. 

"Then why are you here saying that Swara doesn't love you and only sees you as a friend. She is fighting for you and she is losing. Don't let her loose." 

"Ragini what are you trying to say. Just say it straight and don't beat around the bushes," said Lakshay frustrated. 

"You have to know what is love to get this. But let  me tell you something, Swara wants to fight for you and she is trying yet there is an obstacle that is blocking her. It is up to you, do you want to leave her there alone or take her hand and walk by her side?" Asked Ragini. 

"You know that I'm willing to do anything for her. But I also don't want to force her into something. Especially a relationship. That could also ruin our friendship."

"That's the thing Sanskar, she loves you and wants to give your relationship a chance. She wants you to stop this wedding so you to can be together. That's what she came to tell you today at the temple. She believes... No she knows that she made a mistake pushing you and Kavita together. She wants to make this right." 

"Then why did she say all that. The way she said it sounded that she truly believed it all."

"For someone who claims they love someone that much... You have no idea do you? It was all Kavita. She planned it all. She wanted you to believe that she only saw you as a friend and that the idea of you two even together is not a possibility. And the moment you believe her over Swara made it all real," explained Ragini. 

The three of them stood in the room looking at each other. Non of them sure what to say. Things were gettin more and more complicated rather than getting fixed. The more Swara and Sanskar tried to solve this the more people got involved and things became a mess. Why were they always getting tested and why was their love the one that had to pass this all test.
