Chapter 7

After which felt like forever, Swara realised where they were and what was happening. She slowly, uncomfortablely tried to move away from Sanskar. Noticing his discomfort, he moved his hand. 

"Swara I'm sorry about just showing up here but you weren't answering my calls or messages. Why in one moment everything has changed between us? Why is it that you can't even look at me?"

Swara slightly turned her head trying to avoid Sanskar as she answered. "I know it is hard and it will take time to get back to normal but you have to pretend that you never met me. Pretend that I never came into your life and pretend that what you had for me, all the feelings and all was all just a bad dream. Sanskar I have made up my heart and I have already forgotten about you"

Sanskar just stood there. He was hurt about what Swara was saying but he knew her. He knew that she was only saying all this because she wanted him to forge and go to Kavita. 

"From the first moment that you said that you loved me I told you that I only saw you as my friend, my best friend and that is still the truth now. What I said to you when I was leaving was all a mistake. I don't know what I was thinking but it wasn't how I feel."

A smile spread across Sanskar's face. "Oh, so now you are lying to get what you want. Swara I know you so well and you think I don't see what is happening. I know what you are trying to do. You can't even look at me when you are talking and you want me to believe what you are saying." 

Swara looked up. "Swara, why are you doing all this? Why do you want me to go with Kavita when you know that I want you to be in my life."

"Sanskar, try and understand. Kavita has been locked away for so long and the last thing she remembers is you and her relationship. She has been through and lot and  you are her love of her life. And remember when you first came into our lives, you were in pain of losing her. She will be in that pain for the rest of her life if you just decide to leave her. I want you to think about this all and try and give her a  chance before you leave her. Because there may be a time when you feel that you have made the wrong decision about... "

But before she could complete the sentence Sanskar placed his hands over her mouth. "Swara you can say what you want but never say that I will ever regrat chosing you or loving you. I will always love you and even if I end up with Kavita, I will always have you in my mind. Is that what you want."

They again stood there as Sanskar's hand was on Sawaras mouth. Without realising it, they had once again come so close together. Then Swara removed his hands from her mouth. She didn't even realise that tears were forming in her eyes but one fell. Sanskar looked at her and he got his answer. No matter how much she tried to deny her feelings she still loved him and she wanted him to choose her. She was just thinking about someone else's happiness. 

"You are saying that Kavita has been through a lot. What about you? Ok so you want me to give Kavita a chance to come back into my life? You want me to forget about you and carry on a relationship that I had with her? You want me to forget that you ever came into my life? You want me to forget that I love you so much that it pains me to see you hurt? You are saying that you never lived me and only saw me as a friend?" 

Swara unable to speak at the moment shook her head. 

Sanskar let her go. She took a step back. "So you don't care when I look at you with all the love?"

"No"

"So you don't care that i will do anything for you and for your love?"

"No"

"You don't care and it means nothing to you when I touch you?"

"No"

"You feel nothing when I call your name?"

"No"

"You don't care that i see you with love in my eyes and for you only?"

"No" 

"So you won't care if I leave to be with someone else. You won't care that my life will be worse then dying. I will be in so much pain that I can see you and hear you but can't hold you. You want me to die slowly."

Swara looked up as she saw tears in Sanskar's eyes. She couldn't  hold it in anymore. She wasn't thinking anymore as tears fell from her eyes. She may say it many times that she didn't care and yes she still wanted Sanskar to give Kavita a chance but at the moment she didn't care. With out another word or anything she ran. Ran not away from Sanskar but towards him. She put her hands around her and gave him a hug. Sanskar also placed his hands around her and squeezed her tight. The embraced as time once again stopped. They didn't care if anyone was watching. At that moment nothing mattered. It was all about Swara and Sanskar. Sawara tightened her grip and Sanskar slowly kissed her forehead and conitued to embrace. It felt right.
