Chapter 12

Sanskar came downstairs the next morning as he prepared to leave for the office. As he came down he noticed all the family members were already at the dining table and so was Kavita. As difficult as it maybe to pretend to be happy with Kavita, he had to start his plan to get Swara to realise their love.

"Sanskar, come and have breakfast," called Kavita as she saw him approaching.

"Ma, papa... I think we should have a function to celebrate Kavita and Sanskar finding each other after all that has happened," said Ragini. "Also with everything that has happened, I haven't probably apologized to all of you. I had become so blind with all this that I treated you all so bad."

Everyone watched in silence as Ragini continued. "Honestly I wanted to hurt Laksay for the way he treated me and I became so filled with hatred and anger that I did things that I shouldn't have. I don't even deserve your forgiveness but I still would like to take this chance."

"I know beta that what you did was wrong. And at one point the way you acted made us angry with you and it hurt us to know that the Ragini that we once loved so much had changed. But we are willing to forgive you and start fresh," answer Druga Parsad.

"If you don't mind papa, I wanted to do something. Like when I  made you sign the property and all to me in front of your friends, I wanted to do the same and again and return everything back to you."

A smile spread across everyone's face at this announcement. Ragini went and touched Durga Parsad and ma's feet. Everyone started to discuss what needed to be done. Ragini made her way to Sanskar.

"I have now given you the opportunity to do what you needed to do. I really hope that you get out ever you want out of all this. I love my sister but I don't want her to destroy someone's life, but I also want her and your happiness."

"Ragini, its a little hard to believe you saying something like that to us about us."

"I know and I don't blame you but I know in my heart that I'm true."

"You don't have to say anything. As long as you help me and don't stand against us I will be happy."

Swara, that was Annupurna. She called to say that they are having a party in which Ragini has decided to sign the papers for the house and properties. She wants us there."

"That's great and finally they are having good days coming their way."

"We don't have to go if you aren't feeling up to it."

"Nah, like I said I want to move on and this is a great news and i want to go," said Swara as she gave her mum a hug.

"Swara, beta we need some pooja stuff. Can you please get them for me."

Swara made her way up the stairs of the temple. She was out to buy things for her dadi and decided to come to the temple to help her with the mood. She was happy about everything happening right at the Maheshwari house. But then Sanskar and Kavita came into her mind. She had to forget about them and move on.

She was doing her pooja and closed her eyes to pray when from behind Sanskar appeared. He was followed by Kavita. Swara still unaware of this kept praying. Just as the Priest came around to give the aarti to them Kavita stopped as something hurt her foot. Sanskar came and stood next to Swara also unaware of her.

"Beta, here. Hope your Jodi is always safe. You too make a great Jodi like Ram and Sita."

Swara opened her eyes shocked about what the Priest just said. She turned around to see the person standing next to her and froze when it turned out to be Sanskar. Sanskar had also turned to see and now they stood there looking at each other. It was a mistake but deep down Swara felt it was right. Sanskar was happy with what he had said and knew that it was true.

Kavita stood there shocked when she saw what was happening. She didn't get why they weren't denying this and the way they were looking at each other. All three of them just stood there all trying to figure out what was happening. Kavita not sure what was between Swara and Sanskar. Did they have a past that they were lying about.
