Chapter 31

Sorry for the late update. I hope this is worth it. Also this story soon would be coming to an end. I haven't actually decided yet. Ragini kept rethinking of her conversation with Swara. What Swara said was the last thing that she was expecting. She didn't have an answer to any of her inquires. Did she really hate her own sister or was this all just a long line of misunderstanding that came to this point?

Yes at one point she was mad at Swara when knowing that she had accepted Lakshay as her husband went on to marry him. She hated the circumstances in which she was told that she wasn't the one that he loved, she hated the circumstances in which her heart was broken and she was in so much pain yet she had to smile and pretend that she was ok with that all. Why was she always the one that was at wrong? How could Swara not even let her explain?

Yes she hadn't always been right but she could always count on Swara being reasonable yet here she sat, cursing her own destiny. Maybe the best thing was for her to leave after all this.

"Ragini, where did you go? I have been looking for you everywhere. I need you help in organising for tomorrow night. I cant wait for Sanskar and my life to start so we will have our engagement tomorrow," announced Kavita.

Ragini stood at the spot, unable to move. She knew that this was going to happen yet she hadn't been prepared for it to happen this fast. She still had to figure out a way to let Swara get a chance at winning back Sanskar. Sanskar loved Swara and wanted to spend his life with her, Swara loved him and wanted to spend the rest of her life with him yet Kavita wasn't letting go of Sanskar. She was going to blackmail and create any issues to make sure that Swara and Sanskar didn't get together.

"Don't you think that we don't really have enough time to do this all."

"Why wait when we both love each other and with this all Swara incident, I don't want Sanskar to be confused. He may think that she is the one that he loves but we all know that you never get over your first love. Once he spends more time with me again, he'll know."

Something about this hurt Ragini. Maybe in this all there was some truth. Lakshay never got over Swara, and maybe Sanskar just needs to spend time with Kavita to realised that he never stopped loving her.

"I'm sorry of this hurt you but I know that you know that this is true. First Swara came into Lakshay's life and took him away from you and now she is in Sanskar's life," continued Kavita.

Ragini stood in silence as she didn't know how to respond to this. she wanted to say something but was Kavita right. Maybe she should help her as in the long run, Swara may get hurt when Sanskar would regret his decision.

"Ragini, what happened? You will help me wont you?"

Ragini was shaking from head to toe. She hated the fact that she wanted to help her sister and in both ways she was going to lose. If she helped Kavita than Swara would hate her and if she helped Swara and Sanskar and in the long run she was hurt... she would hate her.

Sanskar and Swara sat that their beds thinking about each other. Both wanted to be with each other yet they both where facing one problem of Kavita. She had made up her mind and wasn't going to back down.

For Sanskar, until Swara came to him and admitted her true feelings, he couldn't break off things with Kavita. Even though he knew how Swara felt, she was still in denial and the only way to make sure that they never had to part ways was to make sure that his original plan worked.

For Swara, Sanskar was willing to give Kavita a go and that he now believed that she didn't love him. She had to find a way to tell him and make sure Ragini or Kavita didn't have any ways to muddle it up. It was hard as apparently, they were always a step ahead of her. They really didn't want her to be happy.

"Bhai, I know that so far nothing is going to plan. Kavita came in between you all and Swara was so close to expressing her feeling to you and now this all. What is the plan further?" asked Lakshay.

"I don't know anymore. I have tried to listen to my heart and my brain and I'm no longer sure what it wants. There is a pain in my heart and I want it to go away. It won't until Swara is here."

"Sanskar, you have run out of time here. Kavita is ready to get engage to you and I don't know what you can possibly do to stop this. she isn't planning on backing down and if Swara keeps this up, she will lose you to her," stated Ragini.

"I cant push Swara and I cant keep telling Kavita the same thing. Not until Swara is ready to accept her feelings to Kavita we cant move on. You both know what Swara is like. She wants me to be sure about this all and I cant back down until I can make her see that we are in this together."

"Waiting around for the true feelings to come up can also be a bad thing at times. Waiting can also hurt you more than the answer itself," said Ragini. "You can never be sure what the other person is thinking and then the third person is the one that apparently the one that gets hurts."

Lakshay looked up at her and saw tears in her eyes. She wasn't looking at him but he knew that somehow this was aimed at him and their relationship. They had been in the similar situation and non of them had handled it correctly. Even now they are all dealing with the aftermath of the situation. He still couldn't fully forgive Ragini for how she handled it all but deep down he couldn't blame her any more than he could blame himself.

"Ok, whatever your plan is, work it fast as Kavita wants to get engage tomorrow and you are out of time. Soon she will want to get married and then you wont have a choice," said Ragini.

She was right. This was his chance to get Swara and make sure that Kavita didn't get hurt. Clearly she was in denial as she didn't want to let him go. He had to make sure that she didn't hate him and she would move on with her life on a positive note. He had found his true love and Kavita had to accept this.
