For some reason,Kai has always found my wish of having three children stupid.
"Three?! I have three dogs for God's sake. And you want three children now? How will we handle them?" He'd say.
But I get what I want,so having married Kai for five years now, I'll finally be able to tell him that he's going to become a father for the third time.
He came home from office,tired as always.
Our two kids,A daughter and a son,ran to greet him as soon as he entered through the door.
I sat on the couch, and smiled.
"Hey,kids. How was your day?"Kai asked them, bending down to their height.
I smiled even more as I saw how good he was with kids . The kids looked upto him as their inspiration and he never let's them down. He's a super man for them. I just hoped that when he gets to know about my pregnancy, he would be as happy as I am.
He took the kids to bed and came back to sit with me on the couch.
"How was your day,honey?"he asked me as he loosened his tie and relaxed.
"Well,my day was brilliant. How was yours?"I asked , moving towards him.
He smiled.
"Stressful but..if I get a nice, tight hug from you then maybe the street might disappear"he said .
The smirk on his face was priceless.
I moved closer to him and hugged him tightly.
He nuzzled his face in my hair as I listened to his slow, rhythmic heart beat.
"I have to tell you something,Jongin"I said, tensing up a little.
"Hmm. Tell me"he replied back,still his arms around me.
I swallowed hard and sighed .
"Umm.. you know how much I've always wanted to have three children"
I felt him tense up.
Oh god...is that a good thing?
"Yeah?" He replied, letting go of me.
I looked down at my feet.
"I'm pregnant with your child,the third time"
Silence. There was pin drop silence for sometime before I heard him chuckle.
"Why do you look so sad about it? Aren't you happy? We're gonna have a third child!"he said, bending down and hugging my stomach.
I sighed ,relief washing over me.
"Thank God,I thought you wouldn't be happy" I said.
He cupped my face and kissed my forehead.
"You're an idiot,(y/n). I would never be unhappy to have a kid with YOU. And plus,you've always wanted three kids right?"he said.
I pressed my forehead to his.
"Thank you,babe. Thank you so much."he whispered, closing his eyes and pressing his right hand on my abdomen.
"For what?"I asked.
"For making me the happiest man on Earth,the third time" he said.
