David smiled as he walked up behind Liza.
Gabbies blushing instantly turned to a smirk when David started walking up.
"What's wrong Gabbie?" Liza asked and turned around. But when she turned around she was surprised to see David right behind her.
"Liza right?" David asked smiling.
"That's right!" Liza said awkwardly as she attempted to step back. But she was too busy looking into his eyes that she again, awkwardly tripped over her own feet and fell. David immediately caught her and smiled.
"And I thought you were the cool one here." David said as he smirked and still holding her.
I can't believe I just did that. David thought as he held Liza. It was the perfect feeling. Nothing like his flings with girls. It felt right and warm and fuzzy, and he didn't want it to end.
"So did I..." Liza said blushing as she pulled herself up.
"T-thanks for that." Liza said as she started blushing.
As soon as Liza did that she mentally face palmed herself. You did not just stutter. Oh you stupid lovesick idiot. You don't even know him and he's already gotten to your head! She thought to herself as she stepped back towards Gabbie, who was smirking and silently fangirling the whole time.
"Anytime." David said winking as he turned around and sat right back in his seat.
Of course as soon as David sat down Gabbie screamed.
"Liza you so like him! And that was so cute my god!" Gabbie whisper yelled. But as soon as she was about to make Liza tell her how she felt, the bell rang.
"Bye." Liza laughed as she skipped to her seat next to David and Gabbie rolled her eyes and walked to her class.
"Hi David.." Liza whispered while looking straight ahead while the teacher was talking.
David looked over at Liza, who was obviously trying to pay attention but wanting to talk to him. The fact that she wanted to talk to him made his heart beat a little faster and he didn't know why. So he smiled and admired her face. He admired the way her eyes darted back and forth when the teacher wrote things on the board and how she would occasionally bite her bottom lip trying to focus.
"Hi Liza." David chuckled and looked ahead.
"You're very good at this talking and class thing." David said whispering and looking ahead.
"It looks like you are too." Liza laughed quietly and smiled.
"Well anyways... I thought you were really cool and I was wondering if you wanted to walk with Gabbie and I after class. I could get to know you, and watch you and Gabbie fight!" Liza laughed quietly.
She wants to get to know me. She's obviously in love with me.
"Sure. I'm down." David said smiling back.
When he said it, he took a glance back at Liza. Who was smiling a huge grin staring at the teacher. Just like him.
Time skip
"I hate math, I'm having PTSD." Liza said as she packed up her papers.
"Wow so soon too." David laughed as he gathered his papers as well. They both started to walk out together to meet Gabbie when a tall beautiful blonde girl stepped in front of David.
"Hey babe." The girl said smiling.
The girl was easily 5'7 and had really long blonde hair. She had really short shorts and a crop-top that barely covered anything, but she still managed to look completely beautiful.
"And who might you be?" The girl smiled bitterly while she looked down at Liza. Since Liza was only 5 foot, the girl had a couple of inches on her.
"I'm Liza... I'm new here. And you have really pretty hair my lord! Can I-" Liza rambled but was immediately stopped.
"I meant what are you doing with my man?" The girl said annoyed as she glared at Liza.
"I was actually just leaving... I didn't mean to cause any trouble... See you at lunch David." Liza faked smiled as she walked up to Gabbie. And before you knew it, Gabbie and Liza were gone.
"What the h*ll was that for Melanie!" David yelled rolling his eyes.
"We aren't dating and you know that." David said looking for Liza, but she was long gone with Gabbie.
"We are practically dating baby." Melanie said as she played with David's hair.
"No... No we aren't." David said walking away from her rolling his eyes. That was just a girl he constantly hooked up with. His basic booty call whenever he wanted, and she took real emotions and feelings to it. Which was really when David only wanted her for a f**k buddy to replace real emotions.
"David has a girlfriend?" Liza asked Gabbie slowly.
"Someone's interested?" Gabbie said smirking and laughing.
"Shut up. I'm just asking..." Liza said nudging Gabbie in the side and biting her bottom lip.
"It's complicated..." Gabbie said quietly.
"I'm sorry Liza I -" Gabbie started to say but Liza stopped her.
"I'm fine Gabbie. It's okay. It's my first day. I don't know him.." Liza laughed and fake smiled.
"TO US HISTORY WE GO!" Liza yelled, immediately perking up as she grabbed Gabbie's hand and ran. And together the girls ran through the hallways together laughing.
