"Will....?" David asked slowly while staring at Kristen. The whole table sat silent. Even Zane and Heath, who never seemed to stop talking, didn't want to say anything.
"Yup, Will. Hey Scott, pass the salt?" Kristen said smiling as she looked at her food. Scott stared at her shocked while slowly passing the salt. All the boys at the table were completely mortified that Kristen was so okay with it. Corinna and Gabbie, however, were both highly amused.
"Um Sweetie, can I talk to you for a minute?" Scotty said uneasily while gritting his teeth.
"No thank you," Kristen said smiling while taking a bite of her food. The boys sat shocked again. No one ever dismissed Scotty when he was frustrated. Though he was a happy go lucky guy most of the time, when he's upset, you don't want to be around him.
Gabbie couldn't control herself anymore and started bursting out laughing. Corinna started laughing too, and then of course Kristen.
"Come on let's go." Gabbie said nudging Corinna and staring at Kristen.
Kristen started to stand up when Scotty grabbed her arm tightly.
"Stay here." Scotty said coldly. Most people would be scared of Scotty at this point, but Kristen didn't see mean, she saw hurt.
"No," Kristen said smiling and flicking his hand off hers. She rubbed her arm, which now had a slight red handprint, got up and quickly followed Gabbie and Corinna outside, causing Scotty to make a fist to his side.
"First of all calm down," David said pointing to Scotty's fist while sitting down.
"You're right..." Scotty said slowly while taking a couple of deep breaths in.
"I told you to f**k her," Zane said laughing to himself.
"Yeah and I told you to shut the h*ll up, it looks like we both wanted things," David said rolling his eyes.
Alex smiled as he looked at David.
"What are we even doing!" David exclaimed hopelessly as everyone else shrugged.

"Spill!" Gabbie said smiling as she sat on the ground in front of Kristen and Corinna.
"Mega hot guy. Perfect distraction from David. If-" Kristen started.
"She wasn't madly in love with him..." Gabbie said running her hands through her hair.
"Yeah," Kristen said rolling her eyes.
"We've got to get David out of her head," Corinna said.
"Good luck with that. She's never had a kiss, or a date, or anything to compare it too." Gabbie said playing with her hands.
"What if - we didn't get rid of her loving David and just helped David change!" Kristen said smiling.
"No... Liza does that. Liza makes David change. But then he always goes back. Why does he always go back?" Gabbie said softly.
"Habit. It's something he's come accustomed to." Corinna said softly.
"Maybe we could help him. We're trying to help Liza get over him, but maybe you could just tell him what to do. What Liza likes and crap. And we just ship them." Kristen said happily.
"And if Liza gets hurt..." Gabbie said slowly.
"She won't," Kristen said confidently.
"I'm sure of it."
"You're such a Kristen," Corinna said smiling.
"Scotty is lucky." Gabbie said patting her on the back.
Kristen looked down at the still visible handprint and frowned before smiling again.
"I love you guys!" She said laughing as she went in for a hug.

Liza drove up to the coffee shop. She kept her hand on her head and thought to herself. She thought about David, and then Melanie. If he liked her, he would stop. Liza repeated that in her head over and over again while driving to meet Will at the coffee shop. She wanted everything else to go well today. After an extremely sucky morning, she only hoped that spending time with someone that actually seemed to want to hang out with her, unlike David, would make her feel better. She got out of her car and walked to the door. She checked her forehead in her phone reflection noticing the bruise had only gotten worse. She rolled her eyes and hoped they had ice packs. She walked in and Will instantly ran up to her.
"What happened to your head?" He said softly before running his thumb across the bruise.
"Oh, that ole thing... I hit my head. In a bookshelf and I have no logical reason for actually being in it." Liza rambled to herself. Will just smiled and sat down.
"You like to talk don't you." He said grinning and staring at her.
"Yeah... Sorry, sometimes I talk too much." Liza said blushing before sitting across from him.
"No... Your voice is soothing. I like it when you talk. It's comforting and adorable." He said smiling while staring at Liza.

She of course blushed.

You are no David, but God aren't you sweet. Liza thought to herself as she walked around.
"So... high school? college?" Liza said twirling a glass full of daisies on the table.
"I am a senior, I'm homeschooled, I have an older brother, and I am seventeen years old. My birthday is January 25th, and I happen to really like photography. Now your turn." He said staring.
"My name is Elizabeth. I am sixteen years old. My birthday is March 31st, and I have a thing for writing." Liza said slowly while spinning the daisies.
"Something on your mind?" Will said staring at Liza smiling.
Yeah, only David. Always David. 24/7 David.
"No.. of course not," Liza said smiling and looking up.
"Good. I have such a big surprise for you." He said smiling and grabbing her hand before running up the stairs.
"What the heck Will," Liza said laughing before looking up and pulling her hand away.
Will took her to the corner of the shop upstairs and pulled a string hanging from the ceiling. A small staircase came down and Will smiled while climbing up. Liza however was staring at him like he was crazy.
"You know I don't know you right? This could your plan to murder me and keep me up there. And I will never see anyone again! All of my friends will just have to be told that their stupid friend went up a mysterious staircase with a beautiful stranger." Liza rambled.
"Beautiful, huh?" He said grinning while staring at Liza.
"Don't flatter yourself pretty boy," Liza said laughing while rolling her eyes.
Liza slowly walked up the stairs when she was greeted with a beautiful view of California.
"Woah.." Liza said shocked as she climbed up and ran to the edge of the ledge.
Liza quickly pulled out her phone and of course posted a picture on Snapchat.
"Pretty right," Will said staring at Liza smiling.
"Amazing," Liza said smiling . Until an alarm went off.
"Sorry I have to go... School calls. Literally." Liza said smiling before running down the stairs.
"Wait!" Will yelled running after her and running into the kitchen.
He quickly came out with a turkey sandwich wrapped in foil and an ice pack.
"Good luck." Will said smiling as he handed Liza the stuff.
"You're a lifesaver! See you soon..." Liza said smiling while holding on to the sandwich and ice pack and walking out.
"Hopefully." Will said smiling as he watched her leave.
