"Do you know anything about the new girl, besides her being completely annoying?" Melanie said sitting in a booth in the mall food court.
"Mel, she isn't that bad," Zane said laughing as he took a bite of his sandwich.
"She is taking my boyfriend!"  Melanie blurted frustrated as she put her face in her hands.
"Ex-boyfriend. Besides, you guys were artificial. He was only in it for sex, you know that and so do I." Zane said rolling his eyes and taking another bite.
"Listen b*tch. I keep your secret, and you follow along okay!" Melanie said giving Zane a dead glare in his eyes.
"Fine..." Zane said looking back down at his plate.
He was 100% aware he was a complete and utter douchebag. But he couldn't change. Just like how David's habits were ruining him, it's like Zane were too. Maybe if he just stopped talking to Melanie, he could relate to David about it more. They could both help each other. But that didn't seem like an option considering what she knew. There was a silence until Melanie spoke up again.
"I want honesty... Do you think he likes her?" Melanie said looking down angrily stabbing a fork into a salad. Zane was about to say something when he turned around and smiled.
"You tell me," Zane said smirking slightly while looking at the door.
Liza and David came walking in holding hands and laughing. It looked exactly like the slow-motion entrance of the couple in a movie that everyone wanted to be. David and Liza didn't notice everyone staring, and David didn't care about his guard or his ego because they were really happy. Like you just won the lottery kind of happy, and in a way, them being together, was the lottery they both never knew they wanted.

"You're f*cking with me..." Melanie scoffed as she stared at them.
"Nah, they're f*cking each other," Zane laughed while smiling. Melanie's face was even colder, and she threw a fork at his head. Zane just put his hand over his mouth to try and stop the laughing and turned around.
"Next time I'm aiming it towards your d*ck, let's go," Melanie said standing up and flipping her hair.

"You know what I've always wanted to do?" David down at Liza's hand smiling.
"What's that Pookie," Liza said laughing back.
"Pretend to be f*cking rich is f*ck and go into expensive clothing stores and pretend we'll buy stuff. I don't know..." David said blushing.
Listening back to what he said, he realized how stupid he probably sounded.
Liza smiled and laughed.
"If we are going to do that, we have to fit for the part..." Liza said pulling him towards Forever 21.
David smiled as he looked around.
"This stuff looks expensive..." He said picking up clothing.
"It isn't though. That's why we're going to look like we're a million bucks Dobrik! Watch this." Liza said smiling running over to the girl's section. She quickly pulled down white heels, a form-fitting smooth black dress with sunglasses.
"A million bucks right here," Liza said smiling while David stared at her rolling her eyes.
"I doubt it," David said smiling.

Liza rolled her eyes as she grabbed a black shirt with brown pants, a brown jacket, and a black fedora ringed with brown.
"I'm paying for this and you are going to put it on. But don't actually put on the jacket, just hold it in one arm." Liza said running and paying for the clothes.
"I feel bad that you have to pay for all that stuff..." David said awkwardly standing in the middle of the store.
"Don't... Ever. This relationship isn't he does she does, it's us. This is for us." Liza said smiling as she walked to the register.
David instantly turned red and froze.
The word relationship rang in his head. He wasn't dating her. But that meant she liked hanging out with him.
Maybe she wants to date me. We act like a couple. I think... It's not like I know how couples work. Do I need to kiss her? I want to kiss her.... David thought but was interrupted by Liza whispering in his ear.
"You're hot when you doze off," She whispered smiling, and David's eyes practically bulged out of his head.
"W-what?" He said blushing.
"Time to get dressed!" She said while handing him the bag and walking into the dressing room innocently.
"Hey!" David said blushing still, but Liza was already ready.
They both walked out smiling and staring at each other.
"We look..." Liza started staring at each other in the mirror.
"Good," David said grabbing Liza's hand and twirling her while she laughed.
"Ready?" Liza said putting their clothes old clothes in the bag.
"Of course Elizabeth," David said holding his hand out smiling.
"Why Elizabeth?" Liza said laughing.
"It goes better with our look..." David responded confidently.
"You're an idiot,"  Liza said rolling her eyes.
"Hey, I'm your idiot," David said smiling while they walked out the store.

"Has anyone seen David and Liza? They were supposed to be here like an hour ago?" Gabbie said impatiently.

"I don't know... There isn't anything to do around the mall except walk and shop." Alex said looking around.
"Maybe David flaked?" Gabbie asked.
"Probably not... He's been attached to her like a leech lately." Scotty said laughing.

"Then where the f*ck are they!" Gabbie said shaking Alex impatiently.

"Okay, we have to have a story," Liza said looking at David.
"A story..." He said slowly.
"Yeah like why we are in the store. We can't just walk up in a fancy store without a reason. We need a backstory... Kind of like spies!" Liza said laughing excitedly.
"So what's our story?" David said smiling back at her.
"We are getting engaged... and looking for our reception outfits. Genius, foolproof." Liza responded equally as excited.
"That's after the ceremony? The eating and party?" David asked.
"That's the one! We are 23 years old, and though value the traditional ways of not seeing one before the wedding day, we just couldn't contain ourselves, and wanted to see each other in our outfits before the wedding," Liza said scheming.
"Do you actually believe that?" David asked curiously smiling.
"H*ll no, let's go," Liza said grabbing David's hand while he laughed, and together they walked into the store.

A/N: Miss me?
Okay, so it's been over a month... And here is this week's excuse. My insecurities were basically layering with the last chapter. I was proud of it-ish, but I didn't know if you all would like it and I freaked out and didn't post at all. I also lost all motivation due to the lack of confidence. But I was still getting appreciation and love for what I wrote, so like here I am! I needed that realization that I don't completely suck at writing, and for the most part, I have that. Besides the fact that I hate everything I write... Anyways, thanks for sticking with me here! I am updating next Sunday (3/25). So I hope you like this chapter, and if you do like and vote and crap to validate me!
Bye guys, gals, and still deciding friends!
