David stopped Liza right as they stepped into the store.
"Wait, can we have British accents?" David said smiling.
"You better no-" Liza started, but they were instantly greeted by a man.
"Good Afternoon, welcome to our store. May we enlighten you with any beverages?" An older man said walking up to them.
"Yes sir, water with lemon, for the both of us," David said in a British accent while Liza glared at him.
"Yes, of course..." The man said slowly, taken off guard by the accent as he walked away.
"I hate you so much," Liza said smiling while looking at David."No you don't," David said while putting his arm around her and smiling.
Liza blushed and rolled her eyes while leaning on his arm.
"Here are your waters, and how may I be of assistance to you?" The man said smiling.
"We are looking for our reception outfits for our wedding!" Liza said looking at David smiling.
"I see..." The man said suspiciously as he walked them to the section of clothes.
"James and Marie will help you get dressed and pick out an outfit to your liking," The man said walking away.
Instantly two people walked up to them smiling, taking them both into different sections of the store."So Ms, I'm sure you are excited about the big day! Tell me about your husband!" The lady asked enthused while walking to a section at the back of the store.
"Oh..." Liza said slowly but quickly getting herself back together.
"His name is David... I met him in high school... Kind of like a first love type of thing. We started dating a week after freshman year started and have been ever since. I couldn't be happier!" Liza said smiling awkwardly while making awkward glances at David from across the room."Your fiance is beautiful, whats her name?" The man said smiling.
"Liza... She is beautiful... She just glows... her heart, her smile, her mind. Something sort of like an angel..." David said smiling while he watched Liza from across the room. The man just smiled to himself and laughed."I used to be that way when I met my wife, Allison. She had the prettiest brown hair. It stopped right by her ears. And her eyes seemed to sparkle..." He said smiling as he brought David to the tux section.
"Wow... You guys sound just like us..." David said smiling slightly. He felt relieved that he wasn't the only person that felt like that.
"I miss her more and more each day..." The man said stopping slowly, and David held his breath. He wasn't good in any situation that needed emotions, except of course when it came to Liza.
"I'm sorry-" David said slowly, but the man stopped and smiled.
"I wasn't good with emotions either, you're fine. Here's a tux that seems like it will fit. I have been in the business for a while now, I don't even need to check sizes." The man said chuckling while handing over a tux.
David quickly shuffled into the dressing room throwing on the tux and looking in the mirror staring. This would be him someday, but for now, he felt incredibly awkward. It was a button-down sort of thing, and he felt like he was the living reincarnation of Esteban Julio Ricardo Montoya de la Rosa Ramírez, but white. David walked out rolling his eyes annoyed but then stopped. His eyes immediately stopped at Liza, who was wearing a mermaid dress and spinning around smiling. His face instantly got red and he just stared from afar."Wow..." he muttered to himself smiling as he watched Liza smile.
If she looks that beautiful now, imagine what she'd look like in our real wedding... I mean her wedding.... David thought to himself turning red. So deep in his thoughts, that Liza once more walked up to him and he didn't notice.
"David..." Liza said loudly one last time before David snapped back into reality.
"Yes ?" He said blushing as he looked back down at Liza.
"You look cute," She said laughing and grabbing his hand.
"And you look f*cking beautiful," David said in his British accent, which he had been still using."Your British accent sucks first of all, " Liza said laughing as she pushed a piece of her behind her ear.
"Someone's just jealous," David said laughing as he looked at Liza smiling.
"Whatever loser," Liza said taking out her phone and taking a picture for snapchat.
"This is something we need to remember. " She said laughing as she posted it."Wow perfect. Now everyone will know we are married," David said rolling his eyes smiling.
"Exactly," Liza said laughing, after a couple mins of small talk, they both went back inside the dressing room and put on their clothing from before. They both were laughing as they slowly made their way out the door while people watched them leave. They actually almost wouldn't have gotten caught if Gabbie, Alex, Scotty, and Kristen wouldn't have found them. As soon as Gabbie approached the store she screamed
"What the f*uck are you guys wearing? You look like annoying preppy bristish kids with daddy issues," She said loudly.
The employee's looked mortified as David and Liza gave each other a look before running out of the store with the bag with their actual clothes and laughing, hand and hand."I told you they were too young to be in here," The woman that helped Liza said laughing as she looked at the other employee.
The one that helped David chuckled before saying-
"That's true... but they definitely are in love,"
