Beep Beep Beep
Liza groaned as she groggily grabbed her phone off of her table and turned off the alarm. The bright screen shown 6:00 am and Liza quickly clicked off her phone. She walked toward her mirror and rubbed her eyes before looking up.
"OH MY GOD IM SO UGLY." Liza said screaming before she fell over.
Her hair was sticking up in different directions and she fell asleep in the clothes she was wearing last night. She ran over to her closet pulling out a pair of jeans, and a white sweater with an tan infinity scarf. She groaned and walked over to her mirror as she attempted to brush through her curly mop of hair. She eventually gave up and sprayed some detangling spray in it and pulled it up into a ponytail with a curly bang. She grabbed her backpack out of her chair and then sat on her bed and pulled out her US History homework and quickly did it. Liza is the kind of person that can do her homework in 0.5 seconds and still get A's. Sickening, I know. Liza stuffed her homework in her backpack and checked her phone again. This time she had a text from Gabbie on the screen.
Okay babe what's your address I'm picking you up.
Liza just laughed and responded back.
1217  Shivonne Avenue. Have I ever told you how much I love you?
Liza ran downstairs to catch her mom before she left.
"It's already 7:15!" Liza's mom yelled as she ran across the kitchen.
"Mom!" Lia said smiling as she ran up to her.
"Hey Liza..." her mom said not making eye contact.
"Mom! It's me... your 16 year old daughter. Your senior in high school?" Liza said impatient while faking a smile.
"Yes, I know honey I'm just so busy!" Liza's mom said smiling as she kissed Liza on the head and tried to walk out.
"Mom are you kidding me? You were perfectly fine out with your friends last night!" Liza said obviously hurt as she walked over to her mom.
"That's my business not yours. If I want to hang out with my friends I can." Liza's mom said rolling her eyes as she walked out the door.
What a mom... Liza thought sighing as she walked over to her counter. She didn't feel like eating. So she sat and thought about things and people. But to her surprise the first thing that popped in her mind was David. The way David bit his bottom lip whenever he was focused or distracted on something. Or how he always runs his hands through his hair when he is thinking. Or just how perfect his smile is. Everything about him screamed perfection to Liza. Liza was so busy fantasizing over David she didn't hear Gabbie banging on her window.
"Liza Shaila Koshy! STOP FANTASIZING OVER DAVID AND GET OUT HERE!" Gabbie screamed pulling Liza out of her thoughts.
"OH MUH GUD," Liza screamed as she fell out of her chair, and she could hear Gabbie laughing from outside the door. Liza rolled her eyes laughing as she grabbed her phone and backpack and ran out the door.
"IM DEAD LIZA, dreaming about David I see... Also you looking cute as f*ck!" Gabbie said as she twirled Liza around.
"First, how did you know about David... Second I-" Liza said rambling.
"Wait it was actually about David?" Gabbie said as her small smile started turning into a smirk.
"Oh dear God NO." Liza said screaming as she ran into Gabbie's car.
"YOU LIKE DAVID!" Gabbie says screaming and smiling as she ran into the car.
"No I-I don't!" Liza said blushing as she put her head in her hands.
"YOU STUTTERED!" Gabbie said smiled while smirking.
"I d-did not..." Liza said smiling with her hands in her hands.
"I am your best friend. You have to tell me Liza. I know it's only been one day, but you have gotten more emotions out of him then anyone of us have for four f**king years." Gabbie said smiling while pulling her hair behind her ear.
"Okay... Maybe. Just maybe.. I might think David... is single handedly the hottest guy I have ever met, now DRIVE." Liza said blushing as she innocently smiled.
"Oh my God. I see that blush. I see you trying to play it cool." Gabbie said smirking as she pulled out of Liza's driveway.
"In other news besides my sad love life... How are you and your boy issues?" Liza said as she pulled out her phone and texted David.
" Well know that you said something.... Zane kind of asked me on a date!" Gabbie said smiling.
"Oh my LANTA Gabbie that's great!" Liza said smiling looking up for her phone.
"I should tag a long and take pictures..." Liza said smirking.
"That would be horrifying." Gabbie said laughing as they pulled up into the school.
"Kind of cute... like best friend GOALS!" Liza said laughing as she texted David.
"Not at all." Gabbie said as she parked her car and grabbed her backpack from the back seat.
"I could dress up like a man and sit behind you." Liza said laughing as she grabbed her her backpack and got out of the car texted David.
"Omg, I can't.... Get off your phone babe." Gabbie said laughing as Liza had her face glued to the screen.
"Liza!" Gabbie yells as they turned the corner up to the school.
"Sorry I'm texting David." Liza says laughing as she looks up and immediately looked back down at her phone.
"LIZA! Stop texting David!"
"DAVID! Stop texting Liza!"
Two voices at the exact same time said.  Gabbie and Zane were both standing there in front of each other, both yelling at David and Liza. Liza instantly looked up at David and started blushing and David just smiled.
"Hey Pookie..." Liza said as she smiled and looked around.
"Hey Lizabug." David said blushing and looking down at her. He just wanted to kiss her cute little small head. Then she would blush and they could hold hands and talk about literally anything. It was so easy to talk to her, and she always had something to talk about.
"DAVID!" Gabbie, Zane, and Liza screamed in his face.
"He blacked out again.." Gabbie said and Liza smiled.
"I've come to expect it. " Liza said looking up at David.
"It just means he's very creative and has a great imagination." Liza said smiling as she patted David on the back.
"T-thanks!" David said smiling.
"We will be right back..." Zane said fake smiling and grabbing David.
"Weird..." Gabbie said laughing while looking at Liza and walking in the building.
"Kinda cute.." Liza mumbled smiling as she looked back.
"What?" Gabbie said looking at Liza.
"Nothing nothing at all." Liza said walking faster.

"What's gotten into you!" Zane says laughing and looking at David.
"I don't know! She's just so pretty." David said sighing and leaning up against a wall.
"Get her out of your head. Girls are just some sort of fun poison. Smash and go." Zane said rolling his eyes.
"One, Liza is different. I can't explain it to you because you're a heartless d*ck though. Two, who hurt you?" David said laughing and Zane just stared.
"This isn't the David I know. The David I know could go up to a random stranger and kiss them and walked away un-f**cked." Zane said rolling his eyes.
"Yeah well." David said rolling his eyes.
"That's what I'm trying to do with Gabbie!" Zane said smirking while looking at david.
"You're ... what?" David said gritting his teeth. Gabbie was his first friend when he moved to California. She was like his big sister.
"F*ck her and go.. I invited her out this weekend." Zane said laughing. Something instantly clicked inside of David. He pushed Zane up against the wall and pinned him there.
"Stay away from Gabbie." David spat as he let go of Zane. Zane was speechless and so was David.
David didn't look back and kept walking. He was so pissed and was walking so fast he ran right into someone and rolled his eyes and kept walking.
"Stay out of my way next time!" David responded annoyed as he kept walking.
"Yeah okay,"Liza said sarcastically as she got up and looked at Gabbie. David instantly stopped in his steps and cursed himself quietly.
"I'll just walk you to class..." Gabbie said as she grabbed Liza's hand and rolled her eyes at David.
"Oh okAY!" Liza said laughing as Gabbie dragged her down the hallway.
"God. This keeps happening!" David said as he ran his hands through his hair.
"But it's for Gabbie. She'll understand that, she understands everything! Why because f*ck she's amazing." David said talking to himself as he walked to math.
"I'm going to go talk to Zane or whatever." Gabbie said fake smiling at Liza.
"Okay girl go get your man." Liza said smirking as she laughed and sat down.
"I'm sorry about David... he's not the ideal crush. He was probably only mad over something stupid." Gabbie said rubbing the back of her neck.
"I understand . People get stressed and I just happened to be in the way. I'm sure if he knew it was me he might've stopped and walked around! Or something... i don't know maybe he would've kept doing but hopefully not." Liza rambled and looked up at Gabbie.
"Please don't get hurt. You're too cute for that." Gabbie said fake smiling as she looked at Liza.
"I wouldn't . I couldn't." Liza said hugging Gabbie and sitting back down.
David walked in the room and stared straight at Gabbie.
"Hi David." Liza said smiling but he was focused on Gabbie. He walked right past Liza and right up to her. He didn't mean to ignore her in any way, he was just focused on his "sister". But Liza didn't know that so she started freaking out.
Does he not like me anymore? He probably didn't like you in the first place! Stupid stupid stupid! Liza thought to herself as she sat down. She pulled out a notebook and started writing things about how she feels and what was going on. Meanwhile David pulled Gabbie to the side of the room.
"Don't go out with Zane." David whispered staring at Gabbie.
"What... why? I think I really like him." Gabbie said smiling as she looked at David.
"Gabbie.. I'm your best friend. I wouldn't hurt you. Trust me . He's a d*ck Gabbie." David said quietly pleading with her.
"Fine... I trust you but I swear if it's something stupid." Gabbie said rolling her eyes.
"Good." David said relieved and smiling.
"Now I have to go to class, and you might want to apologize to your girlfriend." Gabbie said smiling as she watched Liza write things in her journal.
"Sh*t . Bye Gabbie." David said hugging her. He didn't know why. He hated personal contact but he liked that Gabbie was happy and protected.
"Ew get off of me!" Gabbie said as she said as she backed up. David rolled his eyes and watched Gabbie walk out. Liza just stared at them and quickly turned back around.
You're Liza Mother-Effing Koshy! You can talk to other people in class not just David... Liza thought to herself. She grabbed her things and moved her stuff over to a seat next to a boy wearing a white hate and black shirt. He was noticeably attractive and had dimples on both sides of his face. He was kind of quiet and sat towards the back.
"Hi, I'm Liza!" She said smiling as she sat down next to him.
"I'm Daniel." He said smiling back as he turned towards her.
"I'm new here." Liza said trying to spark up a conversation.
"Me too. I came in August though. I just moved here from New York." He said smiling as he looked at her.
"That's amazing! I've always wanted to go." Liza said in awe.
"It's beautiful. All the city lights. All the sounds of the people." Daniel said smiling.
"I would love to go there..." Liza said smiling back.
"Maybe one day we can go together. That would be fun." Daniel said laughing and Liza laughed along. "Im looking forward to it." She said back , and out of the corner of her eye she could see David staring at them.
