Chapter 19

Oh my god I'm so stupid... Liza thought as she banged her head against her steering wheel.
Like he'd actually want a date, you stupid idiot! She thought again as she mentally facepalmed herself. She took deep breaths and tried to calm down. She needed to move on from David Dobrik. She rolled her eyes as she started her car.
"Get David Dobrik out of your head..." she mumbled to herself closing her eyes but screamed as someone knocked on her window.

"David?" Liza said confused as she caught her breath and rolled down the window

"You said you'd take me home and take me to school. Scare you much?" He said laughing as he sat down.
Of course...
"Of course!" Liza said awkwardly as rolled up the windows.
Silence
"So how was school?" They both said at the same time, and then immediately looking back down.
"You know... there's something I want to show you.. at my house," David said trying to break the silence.
"What is it!" Liza said excitedly as she turned around.
She's adorable ... how can I not love her.. David thought to himself as he smiled.
"You'll have to see.." he said smiling while staring at her.
"Fine..." she said smiling as she started driving.
The conversation got a lot easier as the ride went on. They talked about YouTube, different types of Beyoncé puns, and Gabbie and Alex. When they finally got to David's house they just stopped and stared at each other.
"We're here," Liza said staring at David.
"Okay good...." David said blushing breaking the eye contact.
Play it cool. Girls like cool... Breaking eye contact shows her you are strong! he thought to himself smiling.
I knew he didn't like you liza pull yourself together! She thought as she rolled her eyes and walked out of the car. David would inch closer to her and she would move over to the side. She refused to let herself believe anything.
What the h*ll ... David thought to himself as he looked at Liza. She was acting distant. But he pushed out the thought out of his head as he opened the door. Liza walked in and was instantly bombarded with hugs.
"Liza!" Toby screamed as he ran up and hugged her.
"Aww, mini Dobrik!" She said laughing as she picked him up and spun him. David just stared and smiled.
"Hi, Liza!" Ester said smiling happily as she walked out with a friend.
"Hi, Ester. Hi, Ester's friend." Liza said laughing as she hugged her.
"I'm Emma." Her friend said smiling as she smirked at David.
"This is Ester's ANNOYING best friend," David replied rolling his eyes as Ester and Emma laughed.
"I was only going to say that you're right... Liza is really hot." Emma said smiling innocently as Ester bursted out laughing.
Liza instantly turned red and smiled.
"I'm going to kill you," David said as he walked towards Emma.
"Sh*t!" Emma screamed as she ran and David chased after her.
Ester laughed hysterically as David chased Emma around the room and upstairs.
"Hi, Liza!" Sara said smiling as she walked down the stairs.
"Hi, Sara!" She said smiling as she hugged her.
"I love your makeup!" Ester said in awe as she stared at Liza.
"LET'S HAVE A MAKEOVER!" Liza screamed smiling.
"YOU ARE LIKE THE BIG SISTER I WISH I HAD!" Ester said smiling as she grabbed Liza's hand and ran with her upstairs.
"Wait for me!" Sara screamed running after them.
Ester led Liza into her room and Liza gasped. It had Polaroid pictures all over her wall, comfy feather pillows everywhere and a chalkboard covered in fairy lights.
"What is this?" Liza said smiling as she looked around.
"It's a wall of memories. I take them with special people.... Wanna take one?" Ester asked shyly. Most of David's friends were mean and she wasn't used to even having one of them remotely nice to her.
"Um yes!" Liza said smiling as she grabbed Esters Polaroid camera off of her desk.
Ester smiled and laughed as Liza took three pictures with her Polaroid camera.
"Perfect! And just because we are the best kind of sisters we can put these on top of your bed!" Liza said winking as she laughed and walked over to her bed. She sat on top and placed each Polaroid picture in order and taped them up. Ester was just so happy so she ran up and hugged Liza.
"I'll have you over David any day," Ester said smiling as she hugged her.
"Awe. You're the best un-biological sister I could ask for." Liza said smiling as she stared at Ester.
Sara came and joined the hug as well.
"I want to feel included!" Sara said annoyed.
"Well I need more siblings anyways," Liza said laughing as she hugged Sara.
"Um, there can only be one of us," Ester said laughing as she took a pillow and hit Liza.
"Oh, honey you're on!" Liza said laughing as she grabbed a pillow and hit Ester.
"I said me to brats!" Sara said taking another pillow and hitting Liza and Ester at the same time.
The three girls started laughing hysterically that they didn't see David and Emma walk in. When Liza brought her pillow back to hit Sara, she accidentally whacked David in the face.
Ester, Sara, and Liza laughed hysterically as David stared shocked at Liza with his hair all messed up.
"You are going to regret that," David said smiling as he picked up a pillow and hit Liza.
"I am definitely not missing this!" Emma said as she pulled out her phone and recorded Liza and David laughing together and hitting each other with pillows. But Ester knocked the phone out of her hand with a pillow and Emma gasped.
"Ester!" Emma said laughing as she took a pillow and whacked her back.
"I came with my own pillow!" Toby said screaming as he ran in and hit Sara.
At this point, they were all hitting each other and laughing. David's pillow broke and feathers were going everywhere, but everyone was having too much fun to notice.
"HA HA SUCKER!" Liza said laughing as she jumped around David hitting him with pillows.
David laughed as he tried to grab Liza.
"Everyone attack David!" Liza screamed as she jumped on his back.
David started laughing as everyone was hitting up with pillows, with feathers flying everywhere, while Liza was on his back. This was all weird for their family because they never had fun together like this. There wasn't a point where they could all hang out without hating each other in a matter of minutes.
"MOM IS COMING!" Toby screamed looking out the window.
"David and I will clean it," Liza said smiling as she grabbed David's hand. David, of course, blushed as Liza dragged him to the kitchen.
"Trashbag!" Liza said smiling and as soon as David handed it to her she ran back upstairs.
Liza ran upstairs and stuffed every single feather into a bag that David was holding and put the two pillows that ripped in another. 
"I'll sew these!" Liza said smiling as she opened Esters window and dropped the bag down there.
"You don't have to-" Ester said but Liza interrupted.
"It's fine really," Liza said smiling as she gave Ester, Sara, and Toby a hug.
"Bye guys!" Liza said laughing as she ran down the stairs. She felt a little guilty for making a huge mess, so she hoped fixing the pillows and cleaning would help.
"Liza wait!" David said running down the stairs.
The kids followed hiding at the top of the staircase so they could eavesdrop.
"Hi, David! Sorry for messing up the room. I guess I can get a little hyper sometimes. But it was super fun so I don't regret it, I just feel bad!" Liza rambled laughing as she awkwardly turned around, but David grabbed her hand.
"I had fun. You're fun. You're okay." David said smiling as he took his thumb and massaged her hand. It was soft to him. He liked the feeling.
Liza smiled as she looked up at David who was looking just as happy.
"You have a feather in your hair..." David said laughing as he stared at Liza:
Liza blushed and smiled at David as moved the feather out of her hair and then lifted her chin up and stared at her.
"You really are beautiful..." David said staring as he moved closer to Liza.
"You are really cute..." Liza said moving closer as well.
Ester, Sara, and Emma were all smiling while Toby covered his eyes in disgust.
They both were inches close from each other's lips when they heard the door open.
Liza jumped back and blushed while staring at David.
"Bye see you tomorrow morning!" Liza said awkwardly as she ran out the door.
"Hi, Mrs. Dobrik that's a cute pair of earrings!" Liza said smiling as she walked out.
"She's such a nice girl. I like Liza." David's mom said walking.
"Yeah me too..." David said running his fingers through his hair and blushing.
"What did you say, honey?" David's mom said smirking as she walked in the kitchen.
"Nothing... I'm going upstairs. Love you." David said still smiling as he ran upstairs.
"Did he just say I love you...?" His mom whispered to herself shocked.
"I think David's in love..." Sara whispered to her siblings and Emma.
"Aww!" Emma said smiling as she clapped her hands.
"Who would've known that David Dobrik could have feelings..." Ester said smiling as she looked up.

I can't believe that just happened! Liza thought to herself when she got in the car with the bag.
"I almost kissed David! And I don't think he hated it!" She yelled happily as she smiled. Liza was happy. Cloud 9 kind of happy. The kind of happy David gets when drama happens so he can make a video about it. Liza drove off with a smile on her face and happiness in her heart.

It was time for bed and David was still smiling. He was in a trance. And he was even being kind. (I know, shocker) Then David did something he didn't do often. He got on his knees and sat down.

"Dear God ... I know I don't talk to you often... but thank you. Thank you for Liza. I don't know if she was actually one of your angels that you sent personally for me, or if she's just that amazing... but thank you. She's the only girl person who doesn't frustrate me or make me annoyed and I don't know... I'm not good at this... Just thank you God... goodnight" David said to himself before climbing in bed. 

"Since it's 11:11 and all, and I never wish for anything, I'm thankful for Liza. She's the best big sister ever... and maybe you could make her my big sister? I don't know.... I've never seen David smile so much... and Liza is so sweet..." Ester said smiling as she looked at the pictures of her and Liza while looking out the window.
"You understand... anyways goodnight." She said smiling before finally before laying down and resting.

High school sucks. Not to mention I've been feeling really sucky lately!  (Kind of like the quality of these excuses) Okay, I'll stop. But seriously two weeks is the longest it will take for me to upload ever. I hope that you could be distracted by my almost 2,000-word chapter?
