The morning awakens as Paul's face comes in contact to the rays of sun that come seeping through the open curtain. He looks around the room and becoming aware of his surroundings, he doesn't remember much of what happened yesterday, just that Ian had somehow convinced him to play some made up drinking game and that was it. He recognized the home of it being his and how Nina was the one who obviously took him here.
Looking to his right side he sees the beautiful brunette known as Nina Dobrev, the one who somehow was able to capture his heart and keep it safe. He smiles at the sight of the young woman snuggled up peacefully next to him asleep, he can get use to this sight every morning. He began admiring each intricate detail of her beauty and how everything of her seemed to be all so perfect, like if the universe took its time in creating such an ethereal being.
He is taken from his thoughts when the brunette shifts her body a little and her face scrunched up, the sun rays also waking her up to. All the while Paul looks at her, a big smile appearing on his face when Nina reveals her chocolate orbs hitting perfectly against the sun.
There's something about brown eyes within the sun that he always found so attractive, but more specifically, her eyes hitting against the sun.
"Why good morning sunshine" The green eyed man whispered cheerfully, bringing his fingers up to her face to remove the little strands of hair stuck to it.
"Do we really have to get up right now? It's like 6 in the morning, let's sleep more." She groaned, throwing her arm around Paul's waist and snuggling closer to him as to not make him get up. "Good morning though" Nina says lastly, her eyes disappearing under her lids and her head burying more into Paul's chest.
Paul chuckles at her whining, remember that Nina is not much of a morning person, he found her gesture to be quite adorable to say the least. The green eyed man eyes her for a few seconds and also came to agreement that it was indeed too early to wake up, especially since it's the start of the weekend.
"I agree, we should sleep more. Rest well sunshine" Paul replied back, giving Nina a quick kiss on her forehead and laying back down, cuddling her.
-
"Wait, what did you tell Nina?"
"Nothing, I didn't tell her anything. Just that she should be careful when it comes to Paul at the moment because he's fragile and vulnerable, I just don't want her to be used and then end up heartbroken."
"This has nothing to do with.... that thing, right?"
"No! Of course not, it has nothing to do with that. I'm just looking out for her, she's my friend Kat and the last thing I want is for her to-to feel hurt or pain."
All though Candice confirmed it had nothing to do with what Kat was referring to, a part of her strongly believes that it does. It was a sensitive, touchy topic that has never been brought up since the day the blonde woman had told Kat.
"Di-Did you ever tell Nina about it?" Kat questioned her.
"That is the last thing I want to do right now, especially right now. I don't want to ruin her happiness over something that happened a long time ago, she'd despite me forever. You don't think that h-"
"Doubtful, he wouldn't say anything to her about it without you knowing he is going to tell her. If she knew then you would have known that she was told about it." Kat interrupted her.
