Caught in full shock, Nina took a while to take into what Candice just said. "Who are you to tell me that? Matter of fact, what's wrong with you?" She said in full sassiness.

"C, I think you should le-" Kat tried saying until Nina interrupts her.

"No-no, it's all right Katerina. I actually would love to know when Candice thought it was okay to have some authority over my life, who I date to be more specific."

"I don't need to explain to you anything. I'll let myself out the door, thanks for the invite Kat." Candice says as she sets her cup of coffee down and stands to leave. As both girls eye her movement. Approaching the door, Nina quickly stands up from where she sat, the sudden realization coming abroad.

Maybe Candice has a crush on Paul, perhaps the entire time while Nina and Paul were on the stage of getting together she became jealous. What if that is the purpose? When putting her actions into play it all makes sense into why Candice has been so against her and Paul being together. Enough as it is, they were known for their on-screen chemistry and now that it is based in the actual setting of their un-denying connection she's had enough.

"Tell me, do you like him? Is that the reason why every time I came to you for advice you'd tell me it would be best to just leave it alone. Or when you made me second guess him because of Torrey? Using his ex as an excuse? That's a low blow Candice, even for you." Nina says in full anger and betrayal of her so called "friend". Candice stops in her tracks, the accusation seeming completely out of proportion in her mind.

"If you liked him, why didn't you at least tell me? Why did you have to go and try to sabotage something that YOU know made me happy? I thought we were friends, but I guess that means little to you." Nina finally speaks, leaving the living room and rushing past Candice and into the bathroom. The two remaining girls in complete silence over what was just said.

"Is it true C?" Kat asks softly, the assumption having left her completely off guard.

"I got to go." Candice says, exiting the door as she takes of hold of her belongings.

It's the beginning of fall and the show's is in session for season 5, after an amazing summer spent with Paul, the brunette was not ready to go back to work and have some time apart from him. It'd be weird not being able to see him for a few days, given how used to she's been to seeing him almost everyday.

"It feels like I'm going back to school" Nina says, as she takes a sip of her coffee while walking towards the set that felt all to familiar now. The weather was the perfect combination of hot and cold, hitting her beautiful brown locks gracefully.

"Tell me about it, this break from work was all too short am I right?" Kat said, walking alongside Nina, viewing the set as well. Silence fell over them as they continued their brisk walk, a pending question coming abroad Kat's mind.

"Have you spoken to Candice?" She asks genuinely, the idea of her closest friends on and off set not speaking was uneasy for her. She felt out of place, she did not want to be told to choose sides between them, given how they both acted poorly in the situation.

"Nope, and I'm not planning to either. Its wasting time I don't have." Nina answered back, there was no reaction, no care. Maybe Nina did do some realization over the summer, besides her long term relationship with Ian, she wasn't going to waste her time anymore with things that have very little importance.

"Not trying to tell you what to do but we all work together. If you think that you'll be able to slide by with avoiding her then good luck. Be the better person Nina, you'll only waste your energy by trying to avoid her." Kat stated confidently, her words impacting Nina somewhat.

All though hurtful, it was in fact true. Eventually Nina will have to come face to face to her and it is best to rip the band-aid off now then never. As they reach set, they were both greeted excitingly by producer Julie Plec, who quickly gave a hurried hello and handed them their scripts for the first episode.

-

"I've been trying to contact her all summer but apparently she was busy. You think she moved on? Better yet, has she been seeing someone new ever since our break-up? What if she was cheating on me? How abo-" Ian rambled until abruptly cut off by Paul.

They were both sitting in a coffee shop near by the set, it was time to tell Ian what has been going on. Specifically with him and Ian's long-term girlfriend. The sound of that just doesn't sound amusing, Paul's guilt came washing over him, he had this itching thought that always took over his conscious that he is the reason of Ian's heartbreak.

How's that possible? She started to pursue Paul after the fact. He had no idea that she carried feelings so significant and so strong, his mind was only giving him cold feet about someone he finally felt so sure of.

"There is something I need to tell you, and I'm not sure how you'll take it but as someone I care about its important you should know." Paul says, earning Ian's approval with a simple nod, he knew it was serious.

"I'm the guy Nina is seeing. Her and I were getting close over the break, I was dealing with my divorce and then she told me you two broke up and we were bonding really well at first. Eventually after a while she confessed that she had feelings for me, I dismissed it but I realized I was being in-denial, I was just telling myself that there was nothing between us, but.. there is. By the time I know it we both started to have feeling for one another in a short time. I asked her out and she said yes." Paul finally blurted out, his heart raced rapidly but his appearance was calm, he was waiting for the worse reaction from Ian, was waiting to see the disappointment in his eyes as the two people he cares about go behind his back.

Instead, he was silent. No expression, no words, just a blank face, like he had been thinking. He finally set his piercing blue eyes to Paul's green ones, he was curious, confused.

"Tell me, were you seeing her when me and her dated?" He questioned.

"No." Paul answered.

"Okay.." Was all Ian said before standing up slowly and walking away, not once turning around, not saying anything else and keeping it that way. He was hurt, that was a fact but what else is there to say, to feel when betrayal was the cloud that now hung above him. He only sat there, unwilling to stop Ian and explain, that was when Paul knew that his guilty conscious was in fact right. He was the reason Nina broke up with Ian.

I'm the worst person for taking months on end to write a chapter but I have been running out of inspiration for this book, not sure where I want it to go just yet, there is a lot more potential for it so I'll improvise as I go along. Thank you for your patience, have a great day/night babes <3.
