"Yes Torrey... it's all signed" Paul notifies the woman over the phone. "I haven't received any other documents or papers yet.... Yeah, I'll let you know.. alright bye" Paul hangs up the phone and sets it down besides his laptop, running his finger through his hair. The exhaustion and stress made his head pound sharply, as the divorce files are still not fully completed.

He still doesn't believe sometimes that it's official over, the woman that he loves left him, with no valid excuse or reasoning. He never questioned her though, it's how they've worked, how they were able to keep each other in tact for so many years. She never liked being questioned, so he never did, even when he was most concerned. Maybe it was part of the reason she left, the green eyed man started to question her, they were never intense though, more like "Where are you going?". Still, even the most simplest ones, she never liked being asked.

The sound of Paul's phone ringing irritated his eardrums. He quickly picked up the phone to stop the noise from repeating. Paul didn't bother to even read the contact name, instead he clicked on the call and spoke.

"Yeah..?" Is all he managed to say, not going by the traditional rule of "hello", his mind to preoccupied on other things besides the proper manner to answer a phone call.

"Paul.. hey, um.. I sort of need your help right now" A rather husky voice responds back. The voice wasn't recognizable, he couldn't make out who it exactly was, because of the rather loud noises coming from the other end of the phone.

"Uhh... Okay, what do you need?" Paul said reluctantly. Rubbing his eyelids to keep himself up for a bit longer, waiting for the person at the other end of the phone to inform him more of the problem.

"It's Ian.. he's wasted right now and is making a complete fool of himself in this bar, I think you should come help him out before he gets kicked out the bar anytime soon" The other man spoke, still the voice appeared unfamiliar. Paul immediately rushes out the door to go assist the older man out of the bar.

Making his way towards the bar that the stranger had directed him to. Paul begins to look around for Ian inside the bar, seeing his former co-star flirting with one of the bartenders. The green eyed man immediately steps in and takes charge in apologizing Ian's behavior. Ian fusses around making it extremely difficult for Paul to drag him out the bar. The bouncer decided to assist Paul in escorting Ian safely out the establishment.

During the car ride, Ian keeps long-winding his words, Paul couldn't make out what the dark haired man was rambling about but still attentively listened. Eventually Ian fell asleep as Paul made it his duty to bring Ian home safely.

"She's gone Paul..." Ian slurs his words, as Paul opens the door to his apartment. Making his way in, Ian repeats the sentence, more coherently.

"Who's gone man?" Paul questions, giving his focus on Ian who drags himself on the furniture in the living room. Picking up a bottle of what seemed like bourbon, downing it.

"You haven't heard?..." Ian inquired. Paul nods his head in disagreement at the statement, not picking up on Ian's news. "Nina and I split....... Yup... She came over, we had some diner, she wanted to talk, I agreed to it, turned into this irrelevant argument, next thing I knew she was walking right out my door... And just like that.. Three years.....wasted." He summarizes, downing another mouthful of bourbon.

Paul sighs, making his own way to accompany the man, taking the bottle from his hand and taking a mouthful for himself. They both sit there in silence for a few minutes. Paul raises his voice to speak soon after.

"You know though Ian... Nina's a great girl, and she's been there for you... She supported you, she inspired you, she loved you... She did all these...... great things for you... things that, not just anyone would do" Paul goes on, turning his head sideways to meet Ian's orbs who've already been fixated on his own. "So yeah... It sucks that you guys ended, but you know what? The three years you both spent with each other... is more than just wasted. You learned from her, and she learned from you. Ian she's not just that someone to walk into your life and leave, she was that someone to make it a difference..... T-to, give it a positive effect. She loved you Ian, and she fought for you, isn't that important? The fact that you can say you had a woman who was by your side all these years? So, instead of leaving it on bad terms, talk to her.. Fight for her, let her know how you feel, and if not... If she still won't, let her know that she's gave you the greatest three years."
