A month passes since the last time the two co-stars have seen or heard from each other.
She missed him, and a lot more than she thought she would. All though she had this feeling he didn't miss her as much as she did, the brunette decided to keep that negative thought buried deep.
"So since we haven't eaten at this place for god knows how long" Ian admits as he looks inside the plastic bag of food, remembering what exactly he ordered.
"I don't remember what was your usual" he says as an after thought as he reaches in the bag and places the two food options on the kitchen counter.
"You have one of two options.. the deluxe cheeseburger..... or the Spanish cuisine?" Ian tells unsure of the choices he's given.
"Did you go to two different places?" She questioned. Ian's eyes roamed around the room until he finally made eye contact with the woman in front of him.
Still looking at him with disbelief, the actor had no choice, instead giving his honest answer.
"Okay so I've maybe drove around a few places.." He outspoke to her half truth. Still she kept the firm expression on her face, hoping he would let more of his confession come out.
"Many places to be fair" Ian mumbles but loud enough for Nina to hear.
The young actress makes her way to the counter and chooses one of the two as he said before.
"I'll take the cuisine" She grins lightly as she grabs the take out container and plastic fork. Making her way to the table and plopping herself right down.
He looks at her briefly but does the same, as he joins Nina.
They sit quietly as they both enjoy the food that the dark-haired man has brought for the both of them. It was always the same when they ate together. No communication, no topics to talk about, no looks or glances to one another. Just them focusing on finishing food.
She debates on whether she should speak, which she agrees with herself to.
"Can I ask you something?" The off-screen couple says abruptly in unison.
Ian chuckles, while the woman sitting across from him smiles awkwardly at the question they've asked one another.
She wondered what is it he wanted to ask or better yet talk about. Instead she decided to keep on to what she was saying.
"I was just gonna ask..." She interludes, trying to find a way to word what she was going to question.
"Do you ever think.... that maybe we aren't as close as we use to be?" She says unsurely.
The room was silent, as Nina waits for a responds from her boyfriend. It felt like an eternity. Waiting and anticipating the man's words to such question. Maybe he thought they were going great, and she felt utterly different from asking such question. She just wanted him to understand, to see eye to eye with each other. All thought this is the third year they have been together, it still felt the same. Like if the both were back to the beginning. She's suppressed that question for so long that asking it right now was the appropriate time.
"What I think is...that we grow closer and closer by the day" He says as he flashes a grin, reaching for her hand on the opposite end of the table and caresses it smoothly.
The respond didn't surprise her. She knew Ian would say such thing, he was one to avoid any further discussion when it came to their emotions.
