And as Nina leans against the cold railing, her thoughts taking trips around each other. The fresh breeze hitting against her olive skin, while her chocolate pools look upward, as a smile grazes upon her lips.
The night sky soon begins to shadow over the blissful sunset that gave off many shades and sets of blues, purples, and reds. Coming all together like puzzle pieces.
Puzzle pieces.
She started to wonder again, as her mind drifts again to her immersing judgement. The green eyed man, being the center of it.
She sighed, taking another dazing look at the colors that were constantly melding, as if they were trying to be one.
"Would you quit moping around? It's weird." A voice had spoken from behind. She blinked, having been dazed for a brief there as she turns her head slightly.
"Then don't be around when I am." She smirks, realizing who the voice belonged too as she turns her attention back the blending of the sky.
"It's not something you always do." He countered back, approaching the railing and joining beside her, looking at the view.
"It's not something I do in front of people." Nina stated.
He turned his attention towards the brunette, taking a glimpse at her perfectly crafted profile. No matter what, Nina always gave that affect on him. Regardless on how she appeared to look. Whether it be stress or exhaustion, she would also look completely admirable in Ian's eyes.
"Would you quit staring? It's weird." Nina mimicked Ian's earlier words, earning a chuckle from him as his cheeks flashed a bright red due to being caught by her.
They pair soon fell into a comfortable silence, as they both began to admire the upper atmosphere's unique colors. Ever second, one color would mix in with another, forming a bright new one and repeating the cycle.
Sunset skies always had a way to come into Nina's heart. The way it turns the ordinary azure into these magnificent shades, reminds her of just how many surprises the world can bring.
Just like people do.
She thought for a moment, as she came up with a conclusion of just how much people can relate to sunset skies.
People are full of surprises, just as sunset skies are. No one ever really knows what to expect, or what someone could possibly create.
The uniqueness that comes individually, just as sunset skies always have varying theme of hues. Distinctively apart from one another. And just as people are, we all distinguish ourselves apart from one another. Just as everything in life with its significant uniqueness
And with every beauty of the Earth, there contained imperfections, such as the sunset having its cloudy skies. People also carry these imperfections. But just as they say, one will love and admire it all.
And with all this, she realized that the world isn't perfect, and the beauties of it aren't, and the people within this universe are far from it. But that's what makes them, well them.
Nina registered that she isn't a perfect being, and the actions she has done also haven't been perfect either. But in the thought of all this, she could no longer keep up a wall of defense between was what meant and what was felt.
