Chapter Three | Hello, Mr. Stranger

They were on the boat awaiting for something to happen. They were at the edge of the boat together. Moira, Raven, the man from earlier, Rose, and Charles. They could see Shaw's boat and they knew that he was on it with many other people. Currently Charles was trying to get into the mind of Shaw, they were at a far distance but he was still able to access the mind. But suddenly in the middle he completely lost the signal.

"I've lost Shaw. I've lo-- I've lost Shaw. Th-There's something blocking me. This has never happened to me before. I think there's someone like me on that ship."

"Like you?" Moira asked.

"Uh, I'm sorry, a telepath. This is incredible. I could actually feel her inside my head. I'm very sorry, but I don't think I'm gonna be much help to you tonight. you're on your own. Oh, my God," he explained, he sounded rather happy about this whole ordeal.

"Jesus," she cursed.

"Get inside!" The man ordered. They followed him inside but halfway through Charles stopped.

He started grabbing his head. "Stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop."

Rose stopped and grabbed his arms and tried to look him in the eyes to make sure he was okay. She was worried about all of this. Getting involved in business that wasn't their own to get involved in. And if that resulted in him getting hurt than it was definitely not worth it. She tried to look in his eyes.

"Charles? Are you okay?"

"There's someone else out there. There." He stated pointing at the ocean.

He turned around and ran outside. Rose followed in suit to make sure he didn't do anything reckless or stupid. But when they got outside he grabbed onto the side and started screaming loudly.

"Let go! You have to let it go! You got to hep him. You got to put someone in the water to help him. Let it go! You have to let it go!" He ordered someone who wasn't there. Rose looked at him surprised. But before she could say anything he jumped off the boat into the water.

"Charles!" She screamed.

She watched in horror and screamed at the people to help him, she had no idea what he could have been doing that was worth risk. However to him it was worth doing so. She was focused on the water but when she looked up she couldn't believe the marvel she was seeing somehow with her own eyes herself.

There were large chains being moved they were attacking the boat that Shaw was in, breaking through and ripping it apparent. They were moving in the air by themselves. But that was impossible. Here was no way. It was amazing. Then it came to her. The man in the water must have been doing it. And Charles was going after him. She snapped out of it and yelled for people to spot Charles and any other man in the waters. Luckily they actually listened to her this time.

Erik grunted as he moved the chains. He was struggling to breath under the water. But it would all be worth it if he managed to destroy Shaw after what he did to him. He was ready to end his life if it worked out. As he concentrated on what he was doing when someone wrapped their arms around him and pulled him back trying to stop him.

"You can't. You'll drown. You have to let go. I know what this means to you, but you're going to die. Please, Erik, calm your mind."

Erik gasped and lost what oxygen he had. He swam up to the top of the water and allowed Shaw to get away somehow. He was screaming loudly before even opening his eyes fully. "Get off me! Get off me!"

"Calm down. Just breathe. We're here!" Charles yelled back at him.

Erik finally opened his eyes and looked at him. "Who are you?"
