"Whoa!" Darwin exclaimed as Alex beat him once again in pinball, it was getting sad at this point.

"All right, all right," Alex smirked.

"Jesus, man, you are killing me," Darwin playfully chuckled, inside feeling a bit humiliated.

"Don't beat yourself up. I've had a lot of spare time."

Across the room, sitting down were Angel, Hank, Raven, and Rose. All four of them were deadly silent. Rose was sure that this might not ruin her relationship, but that didn't change the fact that she upset him. She acted like a child when all she ever wanted was to make people see her like an adult. Raven was sitting down still, sometimes she would look up and share a glance with Hank who was disappointed in his own unprofessionalism. The worst part of it all was how with the broken glass, they could clearly hear anyone passing by to pester the 'freaks'.

There were two guards walking by laughing at them. This was exactly why everyone in the room had spent so much time hiding from the ridicule people bestow upon them. Sure they were only strangers and not anyone like family or colleagues, but that didn't make them feel any worse having people tease them and what they could do.

"Speaking of which a group of assholes," Angel muttered, under her breath.

"I didn't know the circus was in town," one laughed. Rose sighed and turned herself invisible because the way they looked at her made her feel sick to her stomach. She hoped that would help, and she knew she should be sitting there with the rest of her friends, but that didn't change the fact that her biggest fear was having people seeing her as a freak when she just wanted to be normal. "Hey, where'd the hot one go, come on baby, do your little trick again?"

"Hey, come on, honey. Give us a little... No?" He pestered Angel, who simply rolled her eyes. She was used to feelings like this but it didn't make it easier to be made fun of like this. Rose became visible again and glared at the guys who laughed at the small girl. Hank caught a clue that the girls weren't feeling so great and decided to do something for them. Rose reached out and Angel accepted her hand as she looked down at the ground. As he stood up, they turned the jokes to him instead of the girls.

"Come on, let's see the foot. There it is. Come on, Big Foot, let's go." But Hank didn't want any trouble because they weren't worth it. He just walked over and pulled the curtains to hide them from their judging eyes.

"Hey. Hey, come on. Hey," they whined.

Raven turned to the girls who had been victimized by those assholes that were supposed to protect them if anything went wrong or contain them if they went rouge. But they didn't make them feel anymore safe than they would be in a crack house. Raven knew they were feeling the way she did, like a freak that needed to hide what made them special because people will judge them on it. She crossed her legs and then placed a hand on Rose's back and rubbed it slowly.

"They're just guys being stupid," she dismissed.

"Guys being stupid, I can handle. Okay? I've handled that my whole life," Angel shrugged it off, but then she got very serious and cold for a minute. "But I'd rather a bunch of guys stare at me with my clothes off than the way these ones stare at me."

"At us," Rose corrected. Raven looked at her friend and smiled at how she was still believing in the team.

But suddenly they started to hear something being caught and dropped onto the ground. There were thumps onto the ground that started to cause them all to shake and look around for what it could be.
