"So, how many students do you think you'll have here once you get the academy up and running?"

It had been a week. A week since they lost it all on that beach. They had definitely won that one battle, but with Erik leaving that beach it meant that it wouldn't be the end of it. Erik and Raven left that beach, which meant that forever they would be against each other. But the fighting seemed like it would all be ending soon. Charles said his goodbyes to Moira earlier that day, and while giving her a hug, he wiped some of her memories so no one would know where to find him and Rose. She deserved a better life than that and they deserved the same in return for it.

After being shoot in the back, Charles was paralyzed in from the waist down. He still had the use of his pelvis except he would never be able to walk again. So he was now wheelchair bound for the rest of his days. And so he managed to gain some perspective of what he wanted to do in the world. He was planning on opening a school I to the mansion that he and Hank were planning to convert into a school for children with mutations.

Rosemary was supposed to be heading to be Oxford to continue school. So she would be saying her goodbyes after taking a leave to help nurse her boyfriend to a point where he could be okay. He was all dressed in a nice blu suit in the white wheelchair. She suggested they got on a walk of the gardens together to talk a bit. She held onto the end and looked forward. She had fallen in love with this mansion. And the way Charles had come up with a plan to help out mutants.

"As many as I can manage. Possibly more."

She stopped the wheelchair and walked over to him and smiled at him. "You know, one day the government is going to realize how lucky they were to have Professor X on their side."

"I suppose I am a real professor now, aren't I?" He mentioned, which caused Rose to giggle to herself at how uncomfortable that made him. It reminded her of how they left the lecture hall and she and Rose were joking about him becoming a professor. "Next thing you know, I'll be going bald." She sat on his lap. He held her hand and placed it on her lap and looked up at her. "You know Rose, we'll always be on the side of the government. Hank, you, me. This fight might not be done and we will always have to fight. We're still G-Men, just without the "G"."

"No. We're going to be our own team from now on," she smiled. She was never feeling to stop fighting after all that happened on that beach. That day changed everything and suddenly opened her eyes to seeing there were bad people, and bad mutants all the same. So they would have to help people see that. She would never hold back in fear like she did that day. Never be so helpless like that. "It's better. We're the X-Men."

"Yes, I like the sound of that," he smiled. But soon that smile faded as he looked at the girl. "Rose, you deserve more than what I can give you know, I couldn't have to put you through this. What I am going through is my problem and what you want, you won't be able to have with me. I could never ask you to stay with me. So know that if you want to leave. You may, I would not blame you if you chose to."

She looked at him, not surprised at all. She could tell he wasn't exactly glad about all of this. Being wheelchair bound for the rest of his life. He didn't like the way she was helping him out with everything. But she didn't mind. She pushed her hair behind her ear and then placed her hands on his shoulders and gave them a soft squeeze as she gave him a large grin.

"Honey, you can't rid of me that easily. If you aren't going to give me what I want, then I don't want it with anyone else. Okay? No matter what happens I'm never going to leave you because I love you, and that counts for something to me."

He smiled and looked down. "I love you too, Rosemary."

"Then that should be enough," she stated.

He leaned over and pulled her into a soft kiss. She kissed him back and placed her hand on his cheek, deepening the kiss. He pulled back and then smiled at her.

"Well then, Hank and me have been thinking if you wanted to stay," he started and held her hand and looked into her eyes, "maybe we could turn that room that you liked so much into an office for you. You always said you wanted to help people. You had no one to help you when you were young, so maybe you want to be a guidance counselor to help others."

She giggled to herself. "You are amazing."

He kissed her again.
