"We're government agents now, we should have secret code names," Raven suggested, all of the recruits wanted to hang out together. All of them except for Alex, he really didn't want to. Charles and Erik were out and about somewhere. Rose was supposed to be in charge of them because Charles trusted her. Currently she was off at a phone calling her mother, which couldn't be very pleasant. So they were taking advantage of their freedom to have some fun. They all seemed to really like her idea to code names, "I want to be called Mystique."

"Damn! I wanted to be called Mystique," Sean joked.

Well, tough. I called it," Raven retorted. She shifted to look like him. "And I'm way more mysterious than you."

"Darwin, what about you?" Angel asked.

"Well, "Darwin" is already a nickname, and, you know, it sort of fits. Adapt to survive and all. Check this out." He walked over to a water take and placed his head into it. When he did so the sides of his face grew gills that allowed him to breathe under water. It was amazing.

"That was incredible," Raven commented.

"Thank you." He bowed. "What about you?"

"I'm going to be Banshee," Sean nodded.

"Why do you want to be named after a wailing spirit?" Angel asked.

"You might want to cover your ears," he instructed them. They listened to him. He got down and grabbed the edge of the coffee table and aimed for the cup. He let out a sonic scream that accidentally cm shattered all of the glass in the room. Including the large window. The all started laughing and clapping. "Your turn," he stated nodding towards Angel.

"My stage name is Angel. It kind of fits."

"You can fly?" Hank asked.

She took off her jacket and showed off her dragonfly like wings and hovered off the ground. "And..." she shot out fireball from her mouth.

"What's your name? How about Big Foot?" Alex taunted Hank, for some reason he found so much fun in making fun of a dork like Hank. You could tell that he was a big deal in high school and he was probably very popular back in high school. And Hank wasn't feeling all too good about his feet, although he never really did. They were a misshapen and disgusting. But Alex pointing it out wasn't really helping out the old self confidence.

Raven could tell Hank wasn't feeling all too good about himself. She hated the way Alex was treating him. She knew what it was like to have physical mutation that was an eye sore to some people. She knew what it was like to hate the way you look but only feel worse when people made fun and made you feel like a monster. So she was going to return the favor. "You know what they say about guys with big feet. And yours are kind of small."

"Okay, now," Darwin broke off the laughing from the others and the insults and thought they should have just moved on back to what they were doing before with showing off their mutations to each other and making up some code names. "Alex, what is your gift? What can you do?"

"It's not...I just can't do it. I can't do it in here."

"Can you do it out there?" Darwin asked, Alex shrugged in response.

"Why don't you just do it out there? Come on!" Raven insisted, really excited to see what he could do.

"Alex! Alex! Alex!" The chanted. He quickly got annoyed by what they were going and got up and walked outside.

"That's the spirit!"

"Get down when I tell you," he informed them, they all nodded and stood up to see him. He barked at them to move, "get back." They moved back to get away, but then they instantly stuck their heads out to watch him. "Get back!" They didn't move at all, which was pissing him off again. But what did it even matter, it wasn't like he cared about these people anyways, they kind of sucked. "Whatever."
