Returning to Camp

Phoenix's POV:

I stared in complete and utter shock as I watched Perseus ruthlessly kill four males who had kidnapped two girls, who I knew were Demigods. But, that's not what put me into shock, the fact that he walked into his apartment with an image of my best friend who then disappeared as he started killing the males, then I saw him use a skill only Percy knew how to use and that was cloaking himself. As soon as the fight ended and Perseus killed his step-father I quickly dug out a drachma and tossed it into the image.

"Iris, please erase this image from your archives, I want to keep this a secret please" I say and an image of a thumbs up appears on the image before it dissolves "Now, time to meet these two demigods, and possibly my best friend" I mutter as I walk out of my tent into the center of the hunter's camp

I look around before I summon my wings and launch into the air, much to the entire hunt's surprise. However, I swear I saw a smirk on my girlfriend's face but I didn't get a good look as I started flying in the direction of where Perseus was.

Percy's POV:

Thirty minutes after Hylla, Reyna, Instinct and I left the apartment building, we were walking alongside the country road to Camp Half-Blood. I had uncloaked and I noticed Reyna stealing glances at me but every time looked at her she would advert her eyes and I sighed internally. I had explained where we were going and they looked happy to finally go somewhere safe.

"So, Percy" I heard Reyna say and I looked at her and smiled "Do you normally walk around in the blood of your enemies?" I chuckled

"No, not normally. I just don't have any other clothes on me at the moment" I say and Reyna nods

Suddenly a shadow passed over us and an object landed in front of us. Both Hylla and Reyna hid behind me as Instinct disappeared. I looked at the object and noticed it was Phoenix. I smiled as he walked toward me, his wings disappearing on his way.

"Hey, Phoenix" I say as he draws his sword and swings violently at my neck

I don't even flinch as I feel my arm twitch to block the strike and a faint silver shield appears and stops the attack instantly. I hear the girl's scream in horror but I don't look at them, instead I just stare Phoenix straight in the eyes. I see a smirk on his face as he sheathes his sword.

"Well, I'll be damned. I never thought it possible" Phoenix said and I rolled my eyes as Reyna and Hylla suddenly grab my arms and pull me behind them

"Girls, it's fine." I say coolly and Reyna looks at me

"It is NOT fine! He tried to kill you!" Reyna shouted and I smiled gently at her

"No, he wasn't he was just testing something." I say and look at Phoenix "So, Firestorm, was your test successful?" I smirk mischievously

"Yes, it was Perce. Now, let's get these two to camp. Then you have some explaining to do." Phoenix says and I laugh

"All right, I guess I owe you that much" I say as I walk in-between the girls and grab their hands "Alright, Phoenix can you get us to camp?" Phoenix nods as he puts a hand on my shoulder and suddenly we're engulfed in flames

in a moment, we appear in the dining pavilion where I immediately let go of the girl's hands and look at the now staring crowd.

"Sup" I say and I notice Dionysus and Shane smiling at me
