Chapter 3- The Time Has Come!!!

Death's POV (Bet you didn't see that one coming!!!)

"Thanatos!!! Come on what's taking so long?!" I yelled furiously as I ran a hand through my already messed up hair.

"Jeez man hold your horses!" Thanat0s replied as he appeared in the doorway.

"My horses are out?!" I asked raising an eyebrow last time they were out they damaged everything and Thanatos had to be the one to catch them, they gave him hell.

"No, jeez Death, it's just a saying of the modern world," Thanatos rolled his eyes.

Only Thanatos dared talked to him like that yeah he had one other friend Mari but even she wouldn't taunt him like Thanatos.

"You spend to much time on the surface," I grumbled under my breath then said,"Come on let's get my betrothed."

Thanatos bowed and I let my power envelope us and teleport us to the hospital to where my bride to be's mother and grandmother was. They were in a room by themselves so I made my presence known by clearing my throat. My betrothed's mother, Luce and her grandmother, Alina stared at me with wide eyes. It was strange how Luce meant light in italian and Alina meant bearer of light in french, they had quite the names didn't they?

"Death," Alina said coldly, "Thanatos."

"Alina, Luce," I greeted them with a nod as Thanatos bowed slightly.

"Why are you here? And why did you make yourself visible to my daughter?" Alina demanded.

"You know why," I said emotionless.

Luce looked at her mother questioningly and Alina shook her head slightly muttering some very unlady-like curses under her breath. Just then Alina sucked in a sudden breath.

"What is it ma?" Luce asked.

"Someone broke the shield around our house?!" She said in amazement.

"What? I thought the shield that seers create are power full?" Thanatos asked.

"Yeah unless it's a general or lieutenant that attacked!" Alina exclaimed annoyed.

"Aurora and Lily are home will they be alright?" Luce asked frantically.

My head snapped up at the mention of my betrothed's name. Just then a sudden wift air passed in the room and a figure appear. It was the demon King, he was good but strict and much Death in many ways. His name was Chaos and he had the same dark aura as him.

"Death," he acknowledged him and the other two women in the room.

Then he waved his hand and another woman entered the room. It was my betrothed's friend's mother, Leena.

"We need to go, all this drama can be discussed later the girls could be in trouble," Alina sighed.

She knew what was to come and she knew she couldn't stop it. I teleported us out of there and in front of my Aurora's home, I felt the strong sense that something was wrong and it seemed as if the demon king beside me felt it to. Alina opened the door and yelled the girls names as she was about to step inside when we saw a demon approaching us. My hands clunched and I was about to use my powers on him as he came closer. Just when I was about to unleash my power on him, he was lifted off the ground and thrown in the opposite direction.

And that's when I saw her, my bride to be, my betrothed as he back was to us and her wings were out. It was beautiful... Wait! What! Then she let out a furious roar that had the three women with us cringe.

"WEREN'T YOU WARNED ABOUT THOSE WHO ATTACK MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS YOU BASTARDS?!" she growl/shouted.

"A!!! Look out!" I heard a female voice warn her.

She caught him by the demon by his throat and threw him towards the other two demons. Why was there so many demons here, especially these powerful demon. These three were generals, they were big trouble, evil and highly trained. There was a sudden jerk from Aurora's body and she threw a bloody knife at the head general and he turned into dust as he minion watched on in horror. I watched as my bride to be snarled as a blond girl joined her who had a bow and arrow in hand and she also conjured a bow and arrow. They both aimed as those idiots decided to run but was instantly killed by their arrow. I felt my lips curled into a smile, my bride to be can defend herself.

"Lilz you're bleeding bad!" I heard my bride panicked as her friend gripped the wall for support.

"Sweety!" Luce said panicked .

My bride turned around and my what a sight! Her midnight coloured hair was messy and her glowing red eyes started to fade back to its normal brown/black colour.

"You're bleeding!" Thanatos exclaimed.

"Huh would you look at that," she touched her chest and stared at her fingers before falling backwards.

I rushed forward and caught my bride before she hit the ground. I saw the light fade from her eyes and panicked a bit. WAIT!!! WHAT?! DEATH NEVER PANIC!!! I lifted up Aurora as Chaos lifted up her friend and we made our way to their room. Alina knew all we wanted was to claim our brides and not harm them. Yes! Chaos fiance was Lily. Alina led Luce and Leena into the room while we laid our brides on the bed. I brushed a piece of my brides' black locks from her forehead and passed my hand over her body careful not to make contact with her skin. Slowly her wounds closed and healed itself.

Her face was reverted back to its former beauty. It was radiant, absolutely stunning wait up, hold on!!! I have not admire the beauty of anything since HER.

Anyways time to claim what was rightfully mines!!!

The time has come for Death to take his bride!!! The time has come!!!
