Chapter 14 - Apology

  So as I said in my last chapter, I'm toggling with different ideas. One of which is that I want to bring in some creature from different legend from different background such as Norse, Greek, Indian, Caribbean and so on.

  So guys if you can spot a creature that you or is from your country, gimme comment and I shall give you guys a shoutout.

Aurora's POV

     What? What happened there? That was all that was running through my mind. Oh my goodness, would I have kissed Death if the fuming red head hadn't interrupt us? I heard a sudden violent and turned to look at Cerberus. I gasped and took a step backwards as I gazed upon the beast that has grown a couple feet taller than he was.

    "Cerberus," I muttered, "Please calm down, you're starting to scare me."

    The gigantic dog whined and started to reduce in size as he took the forms of three dogs, sky, shy and Kai. They all whimpered and surrounded me with furry hugs.

    "It's okay boys, I'm not scared or mad at you," I murmured into their furs as I tried to cuddle them all together.

     Dusting myself off, I wondered off to try and find my way back to the library, I wanted to see Lily once more because even I knew she would have to leave once again. On my way, a familiar body slammed into me and hugged the life out of me. Lily she was babbling and trying to catch his breathe.

      "Lilz, calm down, take a breathe and then talk babe," I laughed trying to understand what she has to say.

    "I felt something weird in our bond," She said breathlessly, "It was almost for a second, I was highly aware of your presence in my mind then the next moment, there was an almost deadly silence and you were gone. The bond senses something, almost as if someone intercepted our bond."

     "Intercepted," I mumbled, "I wish I could show you what happened mere moments ago."

    "Lilian, come, we have to go," Chaos said in a calm manner behind her.

    It was only then I noticed Chaos and the beautiful woman, Luna was standing behind my confused friend who's still trying to figure out what happened to have even heard her demon king. I could imagine her hitting at me if she had heard me say that.

     "Lilz," I nodded to Chaos who repeated himself and I watched my best friend face fall.

      I understood how she felt because we had no chance to speak as we interrupted then Death took me away to talk. However even I felt it as I saw it on her face when she realized it, the bond was flashing or writhing as it did before. Almost as if it was subdued or as if it knew something we did not. I smiled sadly at her as we followed Chaos to Death's office, I guess. The two men bid each other farewell, however it was quite strange that Luna and Lilith did not speak to each other nor did they make eye contact. 

      "Goodbye Aurora," Luna said softly.

    I returned her farewell and turned to give my friend a big, hard hug. They disappeared through a demon portal as my heart weighted heavily in my chest. Facing Death, his face was cold and emotionless. It was as if what happened between us did not affect him. However I just wanted to know what exactly happened or i knew I would not be able to sleep all night as I tend to overthink, a lot.

     "Death, can we please speak?" I asked trying to hold his eyes.

    "Not right now, Aurora," he spoke as he turned to go back into his office, avoiding eye contact, "I have a lot of things to be done, I would not be able to join you for dinner and you are welcomed to have your dinner in your room."
