Soooo sorry I've been MIA guys! I've been so obsessed with Korean dramas these days! I'm currently watching Goblin and gosh the inspiration started hitting me.

Aurora's POV

I froze in my position with my hands around his slim waist! Death was warm, his body strangely warming my soul. It felt so comfortable, almost as if I was... I was home... It was as if my body automatically recognize this warmth from somewhere. It was an almost nostalgic feeling, something old, something that felt so familiar. It felt so good to be held, so comfortable as if this is was where I belonged. His warm toned body molded to petite frame so well as if he was meant to hold me like this, as if he held before. I wallowed heavily but did not step away, keeping my face pressed against his chest. THERE WAS A HEARTBEAT! Death had a heartbeat! It was slow, very slow and almost deceptively steady. Before I could say anything, I felt his hands on my waist tightened then release me as he took a step back with his hands clasped behind his back. He nodded to Chaos and exited the room with so much as a word or glance at me. Sighing, I turned to my friend who now stood alone in the mirror with a sad smile.

"What have we gotten ourselves into, A?" Lily asked as we took a seat at opposing ends of the base of the mirror, leaning against it.

"Ask me something I know the answer to," I laughed slightly as her wrinkled nose, "Those two men has turned our lives upside down."

She giggled and sighed at we looked at each other, both seeing a new light in the other that we have never seen before. A strange light that made us feel content. We burst out laughing after a long bout of silently studying the other.

"Did you ever think we'd be apart like this?" she asked after catching her breath.

"Honestly, life would have gone on and well yeah we would have been staying separately in the same big city of course due to our different interests in the work field and maybe even when we married," I inhaled deeply, "But I always assumed we'd meet up after work, you know like normal people, for drinks and maybe just to talk. I never even once thought we'd be in two completely separate realms."

After that our talks just drifted to a lighter direction and we spoke for hours. Talks of the or past together came up, all the hopes and dreams we had for the future made an appearance as well with a touch of all our embarrassing moments. We even argued about Korean dramas and our favorite actors, an interest that we had recently picked up after cancellation of Lucifer.

"I'm saying PARK Hyung Sik and Sung Hoon are the best!" I argued.

"UGH! Park looks so childish, like he still has his mother's milk on his face and Sung Hoon is wayyyy too old!" she fired back.

"You little brat! Sung Hoon ain't old!" I defended my favorite kdrama actors.

Honestly if she was here, I would have strangely her rude ass! Pfft Smarty pants. Moments later we had to say goodbye as her demon king was calling her for lunch. Death didn't come back or say anything about dinner so I guess I would be having it in my room again. Now I just had to find my way back there. I stood outside the mirror room, looking both ways down the hallway wandering which way to go.

"Oh man! I'm so directionally challenged" I groaned, "Stupid author made me so much like herself."

Choosing to go left, I stomped off in that direction with crossed fingers hoping that I could actually get back on my own. Moments later I found myself lost! I stared in disbelief at yet another dead end. SERIOUSLY! I turned around and to some grace of all things holy, I saw Thans and Death's back as they turned a corner. As I was about to call out to them, I saw a man slinking in the shadows, silently following them. It was almost as if they could not see  or sense him! My instincts halted me, his aura felt as if it was rotting. He was dangerous and I knew this. Almost as if he held an unbelievable evil in him. How did Death not even sense him? He stopped all of a sudden and stared directly into my eyes, right into my soul. His eyes. They were empty, worse than any I've seen, ever. They were completely black and so detached. I knew then and there, if this being could end me if he wanted. He disappeared and appeared right in front of me, staring at my frozen form.
