What will happen when Death comes for Aurora?
Not to claim her soul or her life but for her to become his bride...
There is something you should know about her, Aurora is not exactly the shy-marry-just-for-so bride.
What in death's name is going to...
Attached is just a video that hit me while I was setting up my computer. I absolutely love Shinedown! They are such a good band! Anywho... Anyone interested in seeing what is about to happen in this chapter.
It was a beautiful day in the Mortem realm as I looked out my window. The sky was a blinding, sparkling blue color as the red tint of the monstrous sun blazed high above. There was a frightening beauty to this place, a beauty that tempted something deep within me to wish to be here forever. I shook my head, I did not belong here and I refused to be here because some sickly handsome, other worldly being wanted to play games with my emotions. I shook my head and headed out to the gardens where I hoped to get my bearings, leaving Cerberus napping in my room. He was probably exhausted being up with me last night.
I was headed through the hallways, my arrayed emotions somehow brought me to a wrong turn and I now stood in front of a blood red door. There was an almost eerie, warlike feeling to this door, a feeling that called to my guardian nature. My body pushed through a weak barrier and through the door. I peaked around the pitch black room, but panicked when door slam shut with a deafening crack. The darkness of the room threatened to swallow me whole and as my world began to spin a familiar power erupted from deep within me, something that soothed my hurt soul and brought comfort to my aching heart. A strange blue flame wrapped itself around my body, brightening the room and what I saw took my mind entirely from it.
There in front of me were weapons, not just any weapons but those of legends. I saw the Trishula/trident of the Hindu God, Shiva that stood next to the legendary mace of the Hindu Monkey God, Hanuman. There were the shining holy swords; Durandal and Excalibur. The spear Gungnir and Mjolnir (Thor's hammer) of Norse mythology were also here. The blade of Guan Yu called Guandao and the monk's spade named Pinyin which translates to 'zen staff' stood proudly next to many more weapons of various heritage. Something called my guardian blood to the back wall of all the weapons where a strange symbol was carved.
Upon touching it, felt as if my body was sucked through the wall itself. It was a portal! But it was no ordinary one, it was made to punish those who were not welcome to pass through it and so my skin felt as if invisible daggers were piercing into every follicle of my body, extracting my deepest fears to the front of my mind. My screams were swallowed into the darkness that surrounded my falling body. But as quick and as intense as it had started, it ended as I was deposited into a chamber that was lined with deadly snakes. As I was about to hiss back at the nearest snake, something caught my eyes... my reflection. My true self was forced to the surface but it seemed as if the black spots on my wings intensified. What the hell!
"GO!" a strong voice commanded and all the snakes vanished.
I whipped around to face that voice and was met with a face that was so unbelievably sweet that even I was surprised. A man that had lips that was as red as wine and eyes that shone with so much emotions, I was taken aback at his sorrow filled eyes that pierced into my very being. He wore a black long sleeved shirt with matching pants, shiney shoes and a black hat in hand. (Picture of Lee Dong-Wook from the Kdrama Goblin)
