Aurora's POV
It has been a long week since our lives has been turned upside down. More or less people that we trusted hide such a big fact from us about our very own future. Neither Lily nor I have seen any signs of the two men that were responsible for our very paranoid state. How is it that one day your life runs so smoothly and just as normal as any day and boom! Everything changes and ends up breaking your heart and trust in people. It only takes a second. Lily was at her house, she needed some time alone. She had planned to go to culinary school to become a chief, Gordon Ramsey was her idol. I planned to go university to study Criminology and become a special victims unit investigator. Our plans for our future was completely dashed, we were girls we had plans on how our future husband would be, how our wedding would be. No male would ever know how a girl feels when the plans for how she wanted her wedding to be, gets smashed to pieces.
It would be sunset soon and I was seated on a ledge on a hill point called Madeleine peak. Like Lily, I needed some space and time. Would I ever see a sight like this again?
"In Death's domain, the sunset puts this one to shame," a silky voice murmured behind me.
"Uh-huh I'm sure it does," I replied calmly, already sensing who it was, "Hello Thanatos."
"Hello my lady," he responded then said, "He wishes to speak with you, my lady."
I turned to look at the man who stood beside the one who called himself my potential future husband. He was boyish looking, with light hazel eyes, skin that was as pale as Death's and black shiny hair that flipped in a boyish way. His appearance was a far cry from Death's and Chaos' very dark ones, he had an air of mischief surrounding him.He smiled a pearly white smile and patted my head as he turned to leave.
"Thanatos makes you feel at ease," it was not a question but an observation made by the deep voice that made the zoo in my tummy run wild
"He seems so boyish," I simply noted.
A silence settled between and I refused to break it first because he was the one that wanted to speak to me, not the other way around. He let out a heavy sign and from the corner of my eyes, I saw him stare at me.
"You gave me time," I stated.
"Yes," he said.
"And now what?" I asked.
"You've had your time to come to terms with what has happened and now you have to come along with me to my world," he nonchalantly answered.
"You would be willing to rip me away from my duties and responsibilities in my world?" I tilted my head, making proper eye contact with him for the first time, since this whole situation has transpired.
He turned his head and nodded as he raised his and that wretched mirror appeared again. The smoke cleared within the mirror and I saw three men. One of them who stood to the left, had a thin smirk and looked very tough with short hair. He looked like a sly bully yet he held a very innocent face. The one to the extreme right, had a very fun looking afro on top of his head and milk chocolate colored skin. He wore a goofy but knowing smile on his face. The one that stood in between them caught my attention, he had such a perfect smile. He was absolutely stunning and the totally girl side in me, squealed at his pearly whites. They looked at us and smiled. Holy Sh!t... They could see us, it was like freaking video call on WhatsApp! Death introduce the one to the left as Time (-_- makes sense), The one to the right as Faith and the one in the center as Gabriel.
"What?! Gabriel as in the angel Gabriel?" I asked shocked.
"Yes my lady, I am the angel Gabriel," his deep, heavily accented voice warfed through air as he flashed that perfect smile at me.
I was star struck! He looked so much like Christiano Ronaldo. He even sounded like him, it was almost unbelievable.
"You have to go with Death, little guardian," Time spoke.
"Yes, you must do so as this is what is written in your faith," Faith smiled softly but yelped when Time hit up upside the back of his head.
"Trust in him, this is what you must do for the future of all the realms," Gabriel said ignoring his companions, "You will continue your job as guardian of the Earth realm after your wedding my dear, you have to follow Death where he leads."
"Yeah do it the easy way," Time simply stated before they dissolved into smoke once more.
I growled at that vile thing, every time it appears I see it, it carries nothing but damning news. I shot a glare at the calm Death, all my life, I had lived according to my duties and accepted the responsibilities. Why is it that I have to sacrifice my future for my duties?! NO! I cannot think so as I had swore a sacred vow to uphold my duties when I accepted the responsibilities of being a guardian.
'A? Is Sir Grimmy with you? Did you meet them?' I heard Lily via our bond's mind link.
'Yes, Time said we must go,' I replied.
'So we must be apart, A? I don't want to,' She whined.
'Me neither Lilz, but we took an oath when we chose to follow the path of guardians, we swore we will do all in our power to protect the lives of the innocent,' I sighed, 'We must do this, for ourselves as guardians and for the people of all the realms.'
I turned to Death and nodded, " You do not have to force me, I will come with you willingly."
"Oh, I was completely prepared to fight you on this," he said calmly.
I glared at the brooding nimrod and shrugged. I was not that bad, I knew what my duties were and I would not shun it for my own stubbornness. Guarantee I would have fought Death tooth and nail if Time, Faith and Gabriel hadn't told me it instead. I had a feeling that he knew of that fact.
"I have to tell my Grandmother and mother," I grumbled but then smirked, "And you're gonna be there."
Death glared at me, I knew Gran didn't like him and I knew she would place blame on him and give him a hard time. He grumbled under his breath but nonetheless stood and walked alongside me to deliver news that I was sure would break my mother's heart and piss my grandmother the hell off.
"Why do you choose to take me as your bride?" I asked my silent partner.
"I am taking you to be a bride candidate not my bride," his monotone voice built the tension between us even further, "I do not necessarily want you or any woman for that matter of fact, but that annoying trio would not leave me alone."
I assumed he was talking about Time and his companions. I guess in all irony, time nor faith can leave you alone. I giggled a bit causing the silent man to give me fleeting questioning look before turning to face my house. Seems like we reached home already or what was my home. I wonder how my family would take this. My bond with Lily has been silent, it has not reacted since our talk with the Guardian Master. Not a sad flinch, not an angry crackle nor an annoyed flicker, almost as if it has gone as numb as I felt. What was to become of it?

Okay yes I have changed the cast and added new people and pictures. but I really do think that these people suited the roles of my characters a lot better. From some aspects of their real life personalities to their looks in some of their movies/photoshoot. I for one, am still fan-girling over the fact that Netflix has taken up LUCIFER! Season 4 baby! Yassss!!!!
I feel much better writing so look forward to constant updates for this book!
