On my home stretch to finishing my degree, so I am sorry for being missing in action again. Finals are around the corner and I have major writer's block atm. Don't worry I will do my best with this chapter. I got into some interesting Chinese drama alongside my regular Korean ones and I discovered it was not as bad. Now onto the story.... The song above is one of those I was listening to as I wrote this, really helped with the writer's block.

Aurora's POV

Today was a new day and I have not heard from Death since that night. It was quite a while since I've interacted with him but it almost seems like he was avoiding me which seems just fine by me because I really did not want to confront him or my feelings for him and the fact I might be leaving here soon to go back to the mortal realm without my best friend. I decided to use my time to study this realm and it's laws alongside the it's functioning, like how the dead are selected to go where. In these days, I've actually learnt a lot and I even been in contact with Woo as well. We've grown to become friends and learnt a lot from him as well. Usually I learn from Thans or any one of the generals that Death has, about the various rules there is about interacting with the dead. However every time I see someone who has died before their time with perfect credits of possessing qualities of a well rounded being from previous lives, my heart burns and hurts, almost as if I had something to do, somehow I should be able to stop it. Every time this happens, I have to hold my powers back because no one knows I have regained the ability to use my powers as yet. According to the laws here, I cannot open a portal with my powers without Death knowing about it. I have been searching to find answers why the portal to Woo's world does not trip a bell for Death and why he is unable to to pick up the fact that I travel to the In-between and the Mortem Realm.

I knew something was up in the Mortem Realm though, the guards and wandering souls were all talking about it. There is someone who's messing with the balance of this realm and has been able to enter and exit the Void, it was not one of the condemned but someone with almost godly powers. It makes no sense however, why would someone want to enter there? The only reason they would do that is if they're trying to get someone out and that was impossible without evaporating the evil one that they are trying to extract, at least without Death's permission. Something was off and I wish I could share my thoughts with someone but these days all I have to keep my company is Cerberus and my occasional visits with Woo, who I have not revealed where I came from or the identities of the people in my life from this realm.

Sighing, I scanned the library in front of me for some clue of what the hell is going on and who has the type of power to travel to and from the Void like the mystery person. Suddenly I heard a haunting flute, it sounded like a familiar traditional Chinese tune that prodded at my memories as if trying to wake something inside of me. It filled my entire being with an strange peace and my limbs took charge without my permission, stepping out of the lane I was in. I felt my body begin to move as the sounds of the Guzheng and bamboo flute played in harmony as my movements matched every note, and my body arched with every curve the music elicited from my soul, I was lost to the world. I was caught in a mesmerizing dance of my musically drugged mind call, sad yet lively, slow and deliberate with a sense of how to live. I felt as if I never wanted to regain my normal state of mind, as if this was the way I was meant to feel... forever.

(a/n listen to the video attached... This ish spoke to me and actually made me want to dance even though, I can't even remotely dance normal... much less Chinese dance.)
