I really do enjoy this song from the games even though let's all admit, game, books or netflix's series, "TOSS A COIN TO YOUR WITCHER" is stuck in our goddamned head!

Anywho I do hope you enjoy this chapter. I might have a little time skip soon so I plan to give our love birds sometime to themselves with all the upcoming.... nope not saying. So I'm giving them lovey dovey time. I will have to work on this chapter for a bit so I do apologize if it comes out too late.

Aurora's POV

I awoke with a start. I was almost scared out of my mind when I did not recognize my surroundings but the memories of the night before rang through my body. Death was no where to  be found. If I had taken time to open his heavy curtains, I think I would have been able to appreciate the dark beauty of his room

However my mind was running on my dreams, I dreamt of Woo Bin, during the past few days that I had been cross with Death, I had been spending a lot of time with him. He was the one that explained that maybe Death really did not know how to respond, a man like that did not see the value in emotional games or lies. Woo Bin still had no idea about who I truly was to Death but neither did he speak more than emotional trauma. Neither of us wanted to touch on who we truly were so we avoided that topic all together. I reached to touch my bracelet, only too find the delicate band had been missing from my wrist where it laid since I got it. Where on earth had it disappeared?! I never wore jewelry that often as I tend to either leave it on and never take it off or when I did take it off,  would simply forget to put it back on.

My thoughts were cut short by the heavy doors opening and Death strolling in with a plate of piping hot breakfast.

"Your human body still requires food and I heard you really liked pancakes, cheesy eggs and soft bacon," he stood awkwardly in front of me with his eyes staring at the top of my head.

After days of silence and brooding, something finally clicked in place with us and I think Death had accepted it quite easily. Looking at his quiet but nervous face and beautiful eyes that seem to shy away from connecting with mines.

"I love it! Do tell Thans, I said thank you," I reach to take the plate from the brooding man.

"I made this," he muttered darkly, pulling the poor delicious breakfast away from me.

I think my tummy may have dropped all the way down, as my eyes snapped to his. His previously nervous, evasive eyes now stared at me challengingly and angrily. Was he... jealous? Tilting my head, I stared up at the tall man and tried to decide what the hell was going on?

"Here," his eyes thawed and softened as he stared at me, placing the plate in front of me.

"Would you like some?" I asked offering a piece of bacon.

He smiled and poked my cheek shaking his head.

After a very uncomfortable breakfast of Death staring at me, I slipped away to go have a shower and check on my company who were pinned yesterday. I know Thanatos would have assisted and they should be attended to but Cerb would have been lonely last night. My mind suddenly swirled back to the bracelet as  I headed to library and I instantly looked down to find the jewelry sitting in its original place. This caused me to stop in my tracks, I knew for sure, just minutes before I left Death's room the bracelet was missing. What the hell was going on here with this place?! Did Death have something to do with this? Was it Woo Bin? Frowning, I literally ran into a Grim Reaper and it was Thans who stood there grinning at me. Sometimes he was like his boss and other times I felt the presence of a foreign essence in him.
