Delta's POV:
Saturday mornings somehow always ended the same way.
At the Davenport house.
Zadie didn't even bother knocking anymore.
"You know," I nudged her, "one day Mr. Davenport's actually gonna lock the doors."
She shrugged.
"Then I'll knock."
Tasha and Davenport were in the living room surrounded by suitcases.
"Oh, this is so exciting!" Tasha smiled, "I've never been to Australia before."
.Eddy appeared on the screen.
"Hey, maybe you'll like it so much, you won't want to come back."
Tasha rolled her eyes.
"You know..." Zadie smiled sweetly, "I've never been to Australia before either. Maybe there's room for one more?"
Davenport looked at her.
"Right. Because I'm going to leave my children home so I can take their best friend."
Zadie nodded, "Exactly."
"Donald, honey, do you have the plane tickets?" Tasha asked.
"Honey, we're taking my fully automated private jet." Davenport scoffed, "Plane tickets ...why don't we just slap on a bunch of stamps and mail ourselves there?"
"Private jet." Tasha nodded. "That works."
Davenport turned to Leo, "Okay, Leo, this is your chance to prove you're responsible enough to stay at home without us."
"Me?" Leo pointed toward the others. "What about them?"
"They were designed to go on missions and save the world." Davenport looked at Leo. "You were designed to break stuff."
Zadie snorted.
"What's so funny?" Leo folded his arms.
"He's not wrong..."
Leo's eyes narrowed. "Oh, please. You're one stop sign away from losing your driver's license."
"My driving record is none of your business."
Chase looked over at her, "you ran a stop sign?"
"She hit it." Leo shot.
"And then hit the yield sign." I sighed.
Davenport pinched the bridge of his nose. "Maybe this isn't a good idea."
"Don't worry. I know the rules..." Leo sighed. "No touchy touchy your stuffy stuffy."
"Leo, I'm serious. There's millions of dollars' worth of technology here." He looked around. "So no goof-ups, no explosions, no fires...you know what? I'm not going. I'm not going."
"Donald... Leo will be responsible. He's a big boy." Tasha defended. "Sweetie, I left your flame-retardant undies on the dresser."
"Mr. Davenport, Leo will be fine," Bree said. "I mean, what's the worst that could happen?"
"Funny you should ask." Chase handed over a printed sheet. "I've made an actuary chart which covers every possible catastrophe. You have an 82% chance of coming back to a perfectly normal house."
"Happy travels," I sarcastically added.
Davenport nervously sighed, trying to back out again.
"Don't worry!" Tasha stopped him. "Eddy is here to monitor every room in the house. He is like a virtual babysitter."
