Zadie's POV:

Ever since Chase brought me coffee the other morning and walked me to school, it's been kinda the norm. He doesn't bring me breakfast all the time, but sometimes he'll Starbucks or Dunkin' Donuts. I suggested the same for Adam and he's been doing it as well. It's nice.

"I like your overalls." He said, smiling.

"Aw, you're so cute."

We got to school and Perry had a line set up to get our backpacks checked. I slid my phone into my back pocket so Perry wouldn't steal it. Chase, Adam, Delta, and I all snuck our phones through; Leo didn't and Bree hadn't come through yet.

"Ha! Cell phones are a violation!" Perry yelled at Leo.

"I think you sticking your hand in my backpack is also a violation."

"Planning on texting your girlfriend in class, were you?"

"I don't have a girlfriend."

"Yeah? Well now you don't have a phone." Perry finished, pushing Leo to the side. "Next."

"You're not gonna want anything in here. It's just stuff that improves your hygiene and appearance." Bree smarted.

"Mocking my porcelain irish skin? Back of the line, princess." Perry told Bree, angrily. Bree stomped to the end of the line, but didn't stay.

"Morning guys." Bree greeted, popping up next to us.

"Seriously, can we put a bell on her?" Leo asked.

"Yeah, you gotta chill on the super agility. Somebody's gonna see you using your bionics."

"No one ever sees me. I mean, you didn't see me swipe your lunch money." Bree said, holding up Chase's wallet.

"Oh you're good." Chase said, snatching his wallet back.

"Hey, you! How'd you get past my checkpoint? I sent you to the back of the line." Perry asked Bree.

"Uh...that wasn't me."

"Must've been somebody else." Delta added

"Yeah, somebody who can't climb ceilings. Saved it!" Adam said, saying the last part to Chase.

"You three have an answer for everything, don't you?"

"I don't like to brag, but the answer to that is yes." Chase smiled.

"There's one thing I pride myself on..." Perry said.

"Your incredibly sturdy calves?" I asked.

"No! My instincts! And my instincts tell me that you three are trouble!"

"Well, I don't like your instincts at all, and you can tell them I said that." Adam said.

"I can't put my finger on it, but ever since you arrived, strange things have been happening around here. And the only strange thing I'll tolerate is the janitor. I have to, he's my cousin."

Guys then started to walk in. "Who are they?"

"Air-conditioning repairmen. They're here to check on the strange winds that have been blowing around here for months." Perry said, walking off.

"She's talking about you." Chase informed his sister. "You're the mysterious wind!"

"The only mysterious wind around here comes from Adam." Bree responded.

"Just so you know, tonight is parent-teacher night. Which means tomorrow is 'you're grounded' day!" Perry snickered. "So good luck!" Crap, I don't think either of my parents can make it. Well, my mom could, but I don't wanna invite her. Ooh, maybe my step-mom.
