*Since Zadie, Delta, and Leo, will be stuck in the lab, this will be a chapter that talks about their past and shares some inside jokes*

Delta's POV-
I walked into the lab with Zadie like every single other day. But it's perfectly fine. I enjoy the lab.

The three were in their mission suits looking sexy as ever. I mean...great, I'm sounding like Zadie.

We must've walked in on mid-conversation because Davenport was saying, "Leo, these goggles are not a toy."

"Come on, my birthday's coming up! Globally know as Dia De Leo." Leo argued. Holy crap. I totally forgot about his birthday. I wonder what to get him?

"No, I designed the mission simulator to fine tune their bionics, not to go on 3D joyrides." Davenport said. "Besides, you're not trained for it."

"Well, how about as a birthday gift you give me a bionic ability?"

"Or I could gift wrap reality and let you play with that for a while."

"So, Leo's having a birthday. What are you? Like nine?" Chase asked, causing Zadie to stifle a laugh.

"Fourteen." Leo deadpanned.

"No, seriously." Chase laughed.

"So, how are you gonna celebrate?" Bree asked.

"We're all going to celebrate. Every year my mom throws me a big surprise party." His mom did throw the best parties.

"Really?" Adam asked.

"Last year she baked a cake the size of me. I'm not gonna brag but I was delicious." Leo said, just as Tasha walked into the lab.

"Guess what? I just found out that I won an award for my undercover reporting on expired produce: 'Something in the Crisper Can Kill You.'" Tasha announced.

"Congratulations!" Davenport cheered. "That's so great!"

"Oh, thank you, but the awards banquet is the same night as Leo's birthday. I'm sorry, honey. I'm gonna miss it. If I don't show up, I'm afraid they're gonna give my award to that overdramatic screen hog, Linda Montires." Tasha explained.

"It's okay, mom. Go have fun. You deserve it." Leo said, before Bree took him to the side to talk to him. "Hey."

"I thought she was gonna throw you a party." Bree said. "I was promised a party!"

"Every year she comes up with this lame excuse to make me think she's not throwing me a party. Award? Please. Have you seen her reporting?"

"Leo, are you sure you're not mad?" Tasha asked. "We've never been apart on your birthday."

"Oh please, he'll have plenty of birthdays, but who knows if you'll ever win anything again." Adam said, placing his hands on Leo's shoulders.

"Mom, go get your award." Leo then fake coughed. "Chocolate frosting."

"I promise we will celebrate the following night."

"Hey, why haven't we ever had a birthday party?" Bree asked.

"Donald!" Tasha hissed. "You never celebrated their birthdays?!"
