Third Person's POV:

Zadie and Delta walked over to the Davenports a little earlier than usual for a Saturday morning.

They stepped into the living room to find Chase, Leo, and Adam completely locked in on Mental Chaos.

"Yes!" Chase cheered. "Totally gonna make it to the final level!"

A second later...

GAME OVER.

The three boys groaned.

"I just wasted three hours of my life getting to that level." Leo sighed. "I'm never playing Mental Chaos again."

"Me neither," Chase agreed.

"Same here," Adam nodded.

They paused, looking at each other.

"Again!"

Zadie looked at Delta.

"I love that none of them even noticed we walked in."

Delta glanced between them.

"We could probably leave, grab Starbucks, take a stroll around the mall, come back and they'd still be sitting there."

"I'm tempted."

Before they could test it, Tasha walked into the room.

"Leo, will you stop playing that game? It is nothing but a huge time-waster that is going to rot your brain."

Just then Davenport walked in.

"Ooh, Mental Chaos." He smiled. "I got next."

"Donald," Tasha sighed. "I was just telling Leo that he's playing that too much!"

"You're telling me! He almost beat my high score."

Delta nudged Zadie.

"That was the wrong answer."

"I'm just saying, this game is affecting him. Last week he tried to pause me."

Tasha paused.

"Twice!"

Zadie bit the inside of her cheek.

That'd really come in handy..." Davenport started. "If it wasn't so wrong."

Tasha shot him a look.

"Okay, Leo, what else are you interested in?"

"Well," Leo said, "I keep telling you that I'd love to work with you in the lab."

Davenport immediately shook his head.

"Yeah, and I keep telling you I don't wanna die in a fiery explosion."

"True that," Zadie muttered.

Ignoring her, Tasha smiled.

"Donald, this is perfect! Leo wants to be like you...and you love you."

Davenport sighed, "But the lab is where I go to investigate the complex mystery that is me."

Delta looked at Zadie.

"Don't."

"I'm deep, baby."

Both girls burst out laughing.

Davenport looked genuinely confused.

"What?"

Tasha sighed, "Donald."

"But he's gonna touch all my stuff!"

She crossed her arms.

"Fine," He caved."You can be my...lab assistant."
