The One With the Death Spiral Smackdown

Zadie's POV:
I was with the Davenport's at school like everyday. You know- yada yada yada. Today, there was something Principal Perry wanted to announce so we were in the gym.

"Prepare yourself, dingoes! It's time for my annual fitness challenge week! This year, forget about push-ups and sit-ups." Perry said. "It's time for bruises, sprains, and freak accidents! I present the Death Spiral Smackdown!"

"Oooh, I'm suddenly intrigued." I said.

"Why do you call it the Death Spiral? I mean, it doesn't look so scary to me." Leo asked.

"Why don't I have vice principal Chochran demonstrate it for you?"

The vice principal was thrown on the platform and it started moving at rapid speeds that threw him off.

"It's not broken! Walk it off!" Perry shouted.

"Wait, so how does it work?" Adam asked.

"You wrestle your opponent as it spins you silly. It'll test your strength, reflexes, and ability to hold your bladder against centrifugal force." Perry laughed.

Then Leo's friend Gordo started talking him. "What do you think Leo? Can you handle it?"

"Well, my bladder's strong, but just to be safe, I'm sticking to dark gym shorts." Leo said.

"I myself will be in a full body diaper. In the face of fear, you'll never know where you're gonna leak from."

"If you have the guts, partner up, and choose carefully. Your survival depends on the decision you make, and there are very few good options." Perry announced.

"You up for it, Del?" I asked.

"Wait, this?" She asked, pointing to the platform.

"Duh."

"Zadie, I don't know."

"Please Del, it would be so much fun."

"Fine." She said, crossing her arms.

-the next day-
Before school, Delta and I walked over to the Davenport's.

"After school today is the big Death Spiral Smackdown. Me and Adam are gonna unleash the fury. You guys gonna come watch?" Leo asked Bree and Chase.

"We'd love to, but we're gonna go to the mall and check out the escalator. I finally mastered the art of stepping off without tripping." Chase told us.

"Oh, were we supposed to do that today? Shoot, I can't make it. I have a really big test to study for."

"What? Okay, fine. I just hope those old ladies are there to clap for me again." Chase sighed.

"Aww, you're so cute." I said leaning against the counter. "Wait did I say that out loud?"

"Woah, woah, woah. When did this become a thing?" Bree asked referring to us.

"The same night they became a thing." I said, motioning towards Adam and Delta.

"What?!"

"Moving on!"

"Never had this cereal before." Leo said, picking up a glass jar.
