(a few hours later)

"Victoria, you look beautiful." Jamie smiled as Victoria undid the cloth used to make her curls. She wore a new, well new to her dress, it hugged her tiny waist.

"thank you Jamie." she kneeled down to Jamie's level and hugged her. "for everything." she smiled.

"well, let's go down stairs." Jamie grabbed Victoria's hand and they walked down stairs. "oh, Victoria!" Jamie said as if she just remembered something.

"yes?" Victoria smiled at her. She handed Victoria a note.

"while you were changing, I was told to give you this." Victoria took the note and smiled.

"I'll meet you in the dinning room in a bit okay?" Victoria smiled as she turned to leave. Jamie nodded, Victoria then ran in the opposite direction. She ran up the stairs to the roof. Snow started to fall, it was beautiful out. Even though what Victoria saw was peaceful, she couldn't help but feel as if she was being watched. Suddenly she heard voices coming toward her, she then hid because she didn't know if people were allowed up on the roof. She peeked from behind the statue. She saw two people come up the stairs onto the roof. She smiled. "Elijah!" she called out, they both looked at where she was. She quickly ducked back behind the statue. They looked at each other and decided to ignore it. Elijah took the persons hand and brought it took his lips.

"No more talk of darkness, forget these wide-eyed fears
I'm here, nothing can harm you my words will warm and calm you
Let me be your freedom, let daylight dry your tears. I'm here with you, beside you to guard you and to guide you." the person smiled wrapping their arms around Elijah. It was a girl, Victoria swallowed a hard lump in her throat.

"Say you love me every waking moment. Turn my head with talk of summertime. Say you need me with you, now and always. Promise me that all you say is true. That's all I ask of you." Elijah smiled, intertwining his fingers with hers.

"Let me be your shelter, let me be your light. You're safe, no one will find you, your fears are far behind you." She rocked him in her arms.

"All I want is freedom, a world with no more night. And you always beside me, to hold me and to hide me." he smiled leaning into her. Victoria ran her hands through her hair desperately.

"Then say you'll share with me one love, one lifetime. Let me lead you from your solitude. Say you need me with you, here beside you. Anywhere you go, let me go too. Elijah, that's all I ask of you."

"Say you'll share with me one love, one lifetime. Say the word and I will follow you. Share each day with me, each night, each morning. Say you love me, you know I do. Love me, that's all I ask of you." the girl smiled up at Elijah. She then leaned up and kissed him. Victoria covered her mouth with one hand and another over her stomach.

"Anywhere you go, let me go too. Love me, that's all I ask of you." Elijah smiled and kissed the girl again. Victoria slid down and sat on the base of the statue.

"I must go, they'll wonder where I am. Wait for me Michelle." Elijah took her hands.

"Elijah, I love you." she smiled while kissing him. Victoria felt her heart shatter into a million pieces. She tried to look to see if they were gone but she lost her footing, she fell on her stomach. Her nose bleeding slightly, she sat up kneeling on the cold concrete floor. She clutched her knees right to her chest.

"I gave you my everything, you made my soul take wing, and now how you repay me. Denied me and betray me. You were bound to love her, when you saw her face." she closed her eyes tightly, tears finally flowing down her masked face. "you will curse the day you did not do all that I asked of you!"
She threw her mask into the ground, shattering it to pieces. She looked at the shattered pieces and laughed uncontrollably, then walked toward the door, but suddenly bumped into something, or rather someone.
