Once dismissed, Victoria walked down the stairs and made her way to the passage ways to go home. That was until someone grabbed her. Victoria let out a surprised squeak, not knowing that someone followed her. She turned around to see who her 'attacker' was. Her almost mended heart once again shattered.
"hello Elijah." Victoria said almost monotoned. Elijah studied her for a moment. "what are you doing here?" she asked trying to get her arm out of his iron grip.
"I should be asking you the same question." he said almost snarky. Victoria scoffed, what kind of sick, twisted game was he playing? Victoria shook her head.
"I live here whats your excuse?" Victoria pulled away from him, successfully. She ran before she could get an answer. He ran after her.
"wait! I just want to talk to you!" he shouted at her as they dodged ballerinas and stage hands.
"There's nothing to talk about!" Victoria yelled slightly, making her way to another hidden passage. She closed the door behind her, letting out a sigh of relief. She slid down the door until she was sitting on the cold concrete floor.
"phew that was close!" Elijah wiped his forehead. Victoria jumped, her eyes widened when she saw him.
"how did you get in here!?" she whisper/ screamed. Her father could probably hear them if he wanted to.
"why are you scream/ whispering?" Elijah asked.
"because I feel like it." she snapped, she held her head in her hands. Thinking of what she could do to get him to leave before her father could see them. There was what seemed like hours worth of silence between the two.
"I heard your audition for the opera house." Elijah smiled his charming smile. Victoria sighed, giving up.
"what about it? I messed up, they're not going to pick me." she rubbed her eye slightly. "don't touch me, I'm still mad at you." Victoria whimpered.
"mad at me? For what?" he asked.
"why do you care about me so much?! We are not engaged, last time I checked this is not an engagement ring on my finger! So why do you care?!" she snapped, using her ring finger to poke his chest ad she said it. Elijah stepped away from her.
"I cared... I cared, because no one else would." he said and left without another word.
