Victoria crossed the dance floor, making her way to her father. She put her plate on the table and sat next to him. "Victoria, who where you just talking to?" he asked her, maybe a little too seriously than he should have. She sipped her water.

"just a woman, she was very nice." she smiled innocently. He took her food from her and cut it for her. She sighed. "papa, I'm 16 I can cut my own food. I'm not a child." she whined.

"knifes are dangerous Victoria." he sighed too, not looking up. she mimicked scrunching her nose. Placing her elbow on the table and resting her chin on it. He closed his eyes tightly in annoyance and sighed. He finished cutting her food and placed it in front of her. She picked up her fork and then slammed it on to the table, just missing her fathers hand. He looked at her outraged that she'd pull such a stunt.

"would you like to chew my food for me too, or are not concerned that I may choke?" she hissed. He remained calm, he dapped his lips with a napkin and exuded himself from the table. She was afraid to look him in the eye. But when their eyes met their wasn't any anger in his eyes, just disappointment. She quickly looked away. He store up slowly.

"Victoria, would you please accompany me to the courtyard?" he asked more like demanded. She shook her head.

"no, there aren't any witnesses out there!" she squeaked. He grabbed her by the arm, leading her away from the crowd. Once they were alone he let go of her.

"you see that clock over there?" he pointed to a big tower clock. She nodded. "see how the little hand is on the eleven an the big hand is on the six?" he asked, she nodded again.

"where are you going with thi-" she stared.

"it means that it's time for us to go home Victoria." He didn't care the she was talking.

"but papa, I'm having south fun! Must we leave now?" she whined. He closed his eyes again.

"yes we must. You've been out in your fantasy for too long. It's time you return to reality." He said through gritted teeth. She was really testing hid patience now.

"this is my reality papa! Here, with real people, not alone with..." she trailed off. He looked as if she had broken his heart.

"...alone with me? That what you were to say wasn't it?" he choked out, she shook her heads "...alone with a monster, who refuses you to let you do any thing." he continued. She stepped closer to him, he backed away. "...alone with the, creature who took you away from your reality."
