Crickets chirp
Their eerie sounds
The night moves in
In leaps and bounds
It crosses over
The starry sky
With creaking crickets
Just passing by
The moon is out
It says "Hello"
It greets the stars
And I, pillow
My head rests softly
Tuckered tight
The phone still buzzing
Through the night
Rambling voices
Picking fights
A stalling noise
A bright white light
Thoughts start flying
Dreams start too
Head starts filling
Thinking of you
That one true person
Through and through
My only love
My forever beau
I'll see her again
Very very soon
My heart forth flutters
It seeks her boone
It's been three days
Since our final visit
I'm left with this room
Like my thoughts so dimly lit
