~4 weeks later~

I smiled to myself. Today is the day I get all my casts off! Usually Geno will help me walk downstairs but I was too excited.

I started to arm crawl out of my room. When I reach the stairs I sat on them and butt scooted.

Then I heard Geno laugh out of nowhere "What you doing?" I smiled "I was too exited to wait for you!"

He laughed "Get up I help!" He stood in front of me and lifted me up. He then stood beside me.

He put his arm across to my opposite shoulder and held a tight grip. He walked me out to the car.

When we got in the car I was bouncing up and down in my seat. He chuckled "Easy! Easy! Easy!" I laughed "Sorry I'm just so excited!

He playfully frowned and acted like he was wiping away tears "They grow up so fast!"

I nodded "No more me to bug you!" He laughed "Thank Goodness! You handful!"

I defended myself "Hey I cooked dinner and lunch for us! Sometimes breakfast!"

He nodded "Yes! When you awake! You just! Sleep! Sleep! Sleep!" I nodded "That's true."

He smiled "How you feel? Feel good?" I nodded "Yeah except all the treatments for my stomach cancer are tiring me out! I don't know how much longer I can keep it up!"

He frowned and placed a hand on my thigh "It be okay! I here for you! Team here for you! Family here for you!"

I smiled "Thanks G that means a lot! Only if I could get my memory back." He nodded "That would be good!"

I didn't even notice we pulled up to the hospital and parked until Geno pulled his hand off of my thigh.

He look at me concerned "Good? No?" I shook my head "I'm fine!" He nodded and helped me walk into the hospital and sit down.

About 20 minutes later the doctor came out "Elise Letang?" I spoke up "That's me!"

The doctor nodded and helped Geno stabilize me. Once we walked into the room the doctor spoke up "Is this your husband?"

I shook my head "No." He nodded and didn't ask anymore questions.

About an hour and a half later I was WALKING out of the hospital!

I smiled and turned to Geno "Are you going to take me skating?!" He nodded "Promise is promise! I take after we get lunch!" 

I nodded once we were on the road for not even 5 minutes I got a call. I picked it up not even checking the idea.

I spoke up "Hello?" Then I heard Jensen speak up "Just a hello?! I haven't seen you in like over 2 months and I just get a hello?!"

I laughed "I didn't check the caller ID! Sorry! But I miss you! How is work?" I could hear the excitement on his voice "I'm just happy it's soon over!"

I smiled "I can't wait to see you again!" He spoke up "So is your memory back at all?"

I frowned and responded "No, I wish it was but no. It's kind of weird. You know I only remember my present and none of my past. It's just weird."

He sighed "Listen Elise I have to go! Make sure you right letters to me I love reading them! I'll miss you Bear!"

I spoke up "Bear?" He laughed "Yeah papa always use to call you that. Well bye Elise I really have to go! I love you!"
