Baby I'm Amazed By You

Elise's POV

Taylor currently was helping me pick out a swim suit. She pulled out my black bikini. She laughed "Dudes love these!"

I laughed "Yeah has Jack ever seen you in one?" She slapped me on the shoulder playfully "He's just a crush from school chill!"

I grinned "Yeah and you have only likes him for what? 2 years now?" She mumbled "2 and a half."

I changed the subject "Well don't you think that's to revealing?" She shook her head "Elise if you go skinny dipping that's revealing! Like your boobs are covered! Well... kinda..."

Just when she said that Troy walked in. He froze "What the hell are you guys talking about?" Taylor and I looked at each other and then bursted out laughing.

I smiled at Troy "Go help your son out we are going on a date!" Troy smiled "Yes!"

I laughed and he walked out of the room. Taylor grabbed my jean shorts and a t-shirt.

She threw them at me "Wear this over the bikini. When you take off the shirt do it slowly let him stare."

I laughed "Taylor since when did you start to learn all of this?" She laughed "TV! Plus I know boys! Shouldn't you? You are the only girl in your family!"

I slightly nodded "Yeah but I love my boys!" She laughed and got up "Okay get dressed!"

Sidney's POV

My mom was taking all my swim trunks out of my closet. She pulled out my black ones.

Just then Taylor walked in "What's up Sid?" I rolled my eyes "Mom just lectured me about my manners and then pulled out all my swim trunks."

She looked at my swim trunks then back at me "So what shirt are you wearing?" I shrugged "My penguins one."

She shook her head "No wear a tight one that makes you look jacked." Mom turned around and yelled at Taylor "Don't tell him that!"

Taylor spoke up "What girls like guys that are strong! I see you looking at dad guns all the time!"

Mom shook her head "Taylor Crosby! Get out!" I was laughing when she mentioned the whole dad thing.

My mom shook her head and turned to me "She can be a handful! But she is right." I smiled "What about you looking at---."

She cut me off "No about women liking strong guys." I nodded "Alright then what should I wear?"

She picked out an adidas t-shirt. She smiled "Change quick and then we can make a picnic basket that you can take like you suggested earlier."

I nodded and she left. I got changed quick and ran down stairs. I walked into the kitchen and helped my mom make the food.

When we were finished I walked out and saw Taylor and Elise laughing. Taylor laughed "Don't we all! Damn was Rob Lowe a hottie when he was younger!"

I cleared my throat and they both turned. Taylor noticed my presence and yelled "Sid had a crush on Jennifer Aniston when he was younger!"

I blushed bright red. I turned to Elise "Ready to go?" She nodded and got up.

We both said "bye" to Taylor, my mom, and dad then got into my car. Elise turned and smiled at me  "Was Taylor a handful when she went in to help you?"

I laughed and nodded "Yeah my mom yelled at her." I started to drive so She turned on the radio.

She smiled once the song came on I smiled. It was Amazed by Lonestar.

She started to sing along "Every time our eyes meet. This feeling inside me Is almost more than I can take. Baby, when you touch me I can feel how much you love me. And it just blows me away. I've never been this close to anyone or anything. I can hear your thoughts, I can see your dreams."

I saw out of the corner of my eye she stared at her hands. I glanced "What's wrong?"

She shook her head "My dad use to sing this song to my mom everyday... no matter what. Even if he was on a road trip he would call her on the phone and sing it. This was there wedding song. We use to listen to it every night when they would tuck me into bed."

I grabbed her hand "I know how much your mother meant to you. I know I have never met her and I don't understand your situation... I just want to say I'm hear for you if you ever need to talk about it."

She nodded and let a tear roll down her eye. I pulled to the side of the road. I wiped her tears away.

I started driving again and sang along to the song and she smiled "I don't know how you do what you do. I'm so in love with you. It just keeps getting better."

She smiled and sang along  "I want to spend the rest of my life with you by my side

Baby, I'm amazed by you!"

When the song ended she started laughing "We should give up hockey and start a singing career." I laughed and shook my head.

She grabbed my hand again. I smiled but kept my eyes on the road "So what are you doing when you get back to Pittsburgh?"

She grinned "I'm going to spend time with My dad, Chance, Anthony, and Jensen. Kris is back in Canada so I can't really do anything with him."

I nodded "I can't believe how big the boys got!" She nodded "I know! They are suppose to be twins but they don't share one similar feature! They do act alike though."

I nodded and then pulled up to the lake "Here we are!" She smiled "Yes!"

We went swimming for about an hour. Then we sat and ate dinner together.

Elise's POV

I smiled and laid back on the blanket "Trina and Taylor were showing me pictures of you as a baby." He groaned "Yeah I was one ugly kid"

I giggled "No you were a cute kid!" He shook his head and blushed. I laughed "When we were kids Jensen wanted to go as a bride for Christmas! So he wore a white dress and everything! The funniest part is he wanted to do it the year after because he thought the costume was cool!"

Sid bursted out laughing. Oh boy did Sid have a contagious laugh it was high pitch.

He turned to me "I liked our matching Halloween costumes." I smiled "Yeah our Space Jam costumes were the best."

He nodded "We should do that again." She nodded "I have a great idea for a costume!" He smiled "What?"

I grinned "I can go as Sidney Crosby and you can go as Elise Letang/Lemieux."

He laughed "Why are you referring to yourself in third person?" I shrugged "Why not."

He laughed and laid back on the blanket with me. He turned and faced me.

I turned and faced him. He smiled "Elise?" I smiled "Yes Sid?"

He smiled "Will you be my girlfriend?" I nodded and gave him a kiss. When we pulled apart I whispered "Yes" in his ear.

He smiled and we skipped our plans on getting ice cream after. We just cuddled and watched the stars when they came out.

This was the perfect date with the perfect guy. I wouldn't trade it for the world.
