Not Knowing If You're Safe

~Time Skip First Game~

I was currently in the locker room with the guys. I never got nervous but right now I was pacing back and forth.

Brian Dumoliun came up to me "Don't worry Elise you'll do great! You also have an interview with Danny Potash you need to get to. I can take you."

I smiled "Thanks Brian! Since we play Boston my best friend is on that team! My brother Jensen also isn't here!"

Brian nodded and frowned. I got really close to Brian since I joined the Penguins.

He has been really supportive and I have told him a lot about my past. He also knows Jensen and I are really close and with him being away because he is in the Army is tuff on me.

Brian sighed "I'm sorry Elise but I know Jensen wants you to play your best! So does your mom! Mario told me she would of love to see you play! And also see how successful you are now!"

I nodded "Thanks Brian for putting up with me." I hugged him and I heard someone clear their throat next to us.

I turned and saw Geno he looked angry. He glared at Brian than turned to me "Coach say you have interview you need go now!"

I nodded "Alright, Brian is taking me."
Geno shook his head "No is good I take you."

I was about to snap at him but Brian cut me off "No Elise it's fine let him take you."

I nodded and walked with Geno through the halls. I snapped my head towards him "What's your problem?!"

He looked at me "I don't have problem! You have problem with me!"

I glared at him "Yeah that's because you were a jerk to me and let your ex be a jerk to me too! She would call me disgusting because I through up blood from my cancer! Then when I forgave you! You stopped talking to me! So don't blame this on me Evgeni!"

Geno frowned at the use of his name instead of his nickname. He nodded "I'm sorry! I really sorry! We try again? Try be friend's again? Yes? Please!"

I nodded "I'll try but you have to try too." He nodded and then turned his attention to another man "Here you are! This Dan! Dan this Elise!"

He smiled "Hi Elise! We are going to start the interview in like two minutes so relax for a bit."

I smiled "Okay, Thank you!" I turned back to Geno he said "I get going! I see you on ice! You play my line!"

I nodded and hugged him "Bye G!"
With that he walked off.

I turned to Dan who smiled "I heard your a character!" I smiled "In a good way?"

He nodded "Yeah all the boys say you have a good sense of humor. They also said you pulled a couple pranks with Flower."

I nodded "Yeah growing up we played a lot of pranks so I have gotten pretty good at it."

I didn't even realize we started the interview and asked "So when does the interview start?"

He laughed "It already started!" I blushed "Oh oops!"

He smiled "So how is it being the first Female NHL hockey player?"

I smiled "Great! I have gotten a lot of hate on it but I'm fine with it. Everyone is never going to agree on something. I mean it's just not going to happen and I except that."
