Lucas couldn't believe this. He was sure Maya was ignoring him. Ever since she had ran away he had questions and the person of question couldnt be found. He spent most of the morning hanging by her locker only for her not to show. He even asked Zay if he has seen her dispite how creepy it looked. He knew they shared classes because Zay couldn't stop talking about her as they walked to baseball practice only for him to forget his things. He did notice, other than the fact that he never returned. His friend was acting more wierder than usual. Lucas tried to see what it was but his friend simply shrugged him off. Stating that it was lack of sleep.
It wasn't until Lunch that said friend. Who kept pushing around his uneatened pizza finally broke him. Lucas had had enough and decided for the two to skip the rest of the school. The smile and nod on his from his friend made him relax slightly. If he needed to get his head clear he would. Luckily they were both eighteen. Going to the office and signing out. The two friends had made there way out of the building.
"Where to." Zay asked hoping into Lucas's truck.
"Ihop then the park?"
"Hoping to see Maya again?" Zay smirked causing Lucas to glare "Alright, It's play if you are. Not like I don't know her address or anything."
Wait, What!?
Knowing what he about to ask, Zay continued "Remember the other day when I forgot my gear?" As Lucas nodded Zay continued "Well, I went to the car to check when I saw her there. She was having car trouble so I offered her a ride and took her home."
"How come you didn't tell me any of this before?" Lucas asked slightly jealous though he had no reason to be. He wasn't with Maya. He had no claim to her. Zay shrugged raising Lucas suspiciousions. Eying his friend something suddenly clicked "You knew she had a child."
"It wasn't my story to tell." Zay lifted a shoulder.
If she let Zay know but not him then. Lucas paled "What's her address?"
"What's the story?" Zay shot back annoying Lucas "Alright, Alright, Fine."
Soon they were skidding down the road. As they arrived to the parking lot. Lucas pulled in the spot far from the other cars. Staring at the creamy painted apartment that held a person who had answers to many questions. Eying it briefly, Lucas turned to Zay.
"So what's her door number?"
"Oh I don't know?" Zay confessed playing with the radio dial.
"What do you mean you don't know?" Lucas asked thumping his hand away from his radio "Dude!"
Annoyed, Zay flinched his hand back rubbing it "I said what I said! Shit that hurt!"
"Zay!" Lucas yelled annoyed "How am I supposed to find her if I don't know where she is?"
Looking up, Zay rolled his eyes as if it was obvious "Knock."
Suddenly, A sharp knock on the window made the two boys jump. A scream escaping there throats that would've been embarrassing if they were in punlic. Glancing at each other as Zay was practically clinging on to Lucas. They pushed each other away trying to claim the once manliness that felt like it had been ripped away. Before they knew it they were smacking and harshly whispering for the other to stop. Finally and knock came from the window stopping there actions. Rolling the window down. They nearly screamed as an angry Maya lowered to the window.
"Maya?"
"What," Maya fumed looking between the two boys "Are you doing here?"
"I am scared," Zay confessed causing the two to look at him "What? She's scary."
Glancing away from his friend, Lucas turned back to Maya who was still looking at him waiting for an answer. Looking into the fiery blue eyes he hadn't seen for nearly three years. He took a reassuring breath.
"We need to talk. Now."

Lucas sat nervously in the leather chair. Zay had ditched him because Maya was too apparently scary for the footballer. She of course chewed him out for telling her address which added to his fear. But she invited Lucas up nonetheless. Still theyve been sitting for the past house and she still haven't said anything to him about who this child was. The child who was locked in the room not aloud to come out. Leaving him with Maya.
As he eyed her he couldn't help the attraction that crept through his body. After nearly four years she still looked good. She still had her albastar skin with a slight hint of a tan. Her blond hair had brown and black streaks of highlights and since he knew her body. He could tell that she had curves that wasn't there before. She looked good, amazing, godly. Tired but still godly.
"What are you doing here Lucas?" Maya sighed as if his presence was annoying her.
"I-I came to look for you. Ever since the park I've been feeling-"
"What?" Maya asked irratated "You came all the way here just because you had some feeling?"
"Am I wrong?" Lucas asked softly causing Maya to quiet down her rant "I'm not wrong?"
He nearly crapped himself when she began to cry.
"No," Maya whispered, a sniffle escaping her lips "You aren't wrong."
At that moment Lucas forgot how to breath. So he wasn't wrong? What did that mean? Was his thoughts right? Was the little girl his? As Maya sobbed quietly in her hand he knew her answer and he was livid. He had a daughter and she hadn't told him? Not once.
"Mi-Mine?"
He had choked. Unsure what to say to her. What to ask her but it seemed that question was the wrong one. In a flash Maya's head shot up more angrily that the time Farkle threw a paper ball at her head causing him to wince. Alright maybe Zay wasn't wrong about the scary but as he remembered that the roles should be reversed. That he should be mad at her . He leveled her glared refusing to back down as she stalked towards him as his she was a spider and he was her pray.
Finally she sat back down, her head going in her hands again "Yes huckleberry, Sh-She's yours."
"And you didn't tell me!?" Lucas stood up bewildered "What? Did you not think I had the right to know mu daughter!?"
"Lucas you don't understand." Maya instantly defended herself "You had Riley."
"Riley?" Lucas stopped his tracks confused.
"Remember the time when it happened," Maya began hesitantly licking her suddenly dried lips "I.. Me and Riley had gotten into a fight and I had to decide about her happiness or mines and.." Maya couldn't continue. It was clear who she had picked "I-I left to get a fresh start but I found out I was pregnant so I just..,"
"What about me?" Lucas whispered cutting her off causing her to look confused "I remember that night clearly Maya and I told you that I loved you." Thought he was angry. Shyly, Lucas reached out gently taking her smaller hands in to his larger ones that still some how managed to fit perfectly "I still do."
"Really?" Maya breathed, her eyes widening in disbelief, glancing from there hands to him.
"Yeah." Lucas nodded, a nervous smile on his face "I really do."
Then and there Maya knew what she had done was wrong. That he did indeed deserved to know his daughter. The child he helped bring into the world. The guilt, though still there, was slowly disloving away because now he knew. She had nothing to hide anymore and she didn't even last full week. Looking down once more at there hands. Maya gently twined there fingers together.
"Would you like to meet her?"
