'Lucas! Lucas!"  Zay yelled running down the hallway. Pushing the lingering students out of his way to get to his best friend "Lucas!"

Glancing up from his locker where the team was talking to him about the game next week. He eyed his friend who seemed to be running from someone or something. He sighed, if he did anything to ruin his reputation again. He was going to kick his ass himself. There were only so many times he could transfer.

"Zay," Lucas sighed "Whatever or whoever it is you're going to have to figure out yourself bro. I can't keep-"

"Shut up," Zay breathed tired trying to catch his breath. Waiting for him to, Lucas closed his locker as Zay jerked his thumb from where he came from "Maya... Rebecca... ass kicked!"

"What?" Lucas looked at him confused of his language.

"Maya's kicking your girlfriend's ass!" Zay exclaimed grabbing his arm gaining the other team attention "Come on dude!"

23 hours earlier

"Mommy I want this paint!" Skylar exclaimed happily pointing to the lavender paint "Purple!"

"Is this the one you want?" Maya asked observing the color. A smile foiling on her face when her child vigorously nodded "Okay, Okay let's go tell the worker."

"Ans we can get paint brushes! Ans wall art! Ans everything in the store!" Skylar shouted excitedly throwing her tiny arms in the air "Everything!"

"Baby this is Home Depot, not Walmart." Maya shook her head chuckling taking her hand "But I love your enthusiasm."

"En-tuzi-asim!" Skylar repeated as best she could as Maya grabbed the sample and lead the smaller girl to the front to ask for the paint.

As she talked. Skylar was practically jumping with excitement. They were finally going to decorate her room her favorite color and design it. She couldn't wait either. All she knew was that she got to paint with her mommy and that was the best thing she could ask for. She loved painting with her mom.

Looking up at her mom as she said her name. Skylar gave her a sweet smile before looking around the store. She didn't know what a 'Home Depot' was but it smelled funny and it had a lot of things she noticed that they had at her house. Like a sink, or a washing machine or whatever that thing was. A row of different decorated floor tiles which confused her. Why would floorx be for sale if it came with the house? Skylar knitted her brows together looking at the item with a tilt of her head. At her moms loose hold Skylar easily slipped from her hand going to inspect the object.

Lucas pulled up at the Home Depot with Zay and his friend Casper from the baseball team. Casper had needed to go to the store and since Zay was getting paid to take him. He happily agreed to go since he was already headed to his friends house. Whom he invited himself over to yell at about the dinner from last night.

Which his friend just laughed at his so called bad luck with scsry woman.

"I just need spray paint and casting mold and we can leave." Casper said from the back seat opening the door.

"What does he need casting mold for?" Lucas wondered as Casper hopped out from the car closing it behind him.

"I don't know but I'm getting 40 bucks for it." Zay grinned getting out of the car. Rolling his eyes at his friend. Lucas turned the car off since Zay made him drive and following behind them.

As they walked inside. They all noticed how packed it was. The joys of summer sales. Beside him, Zay took in a deep breath of the workshop air before letting it out. A smile plastered on his face. Muttering something about the smell of manhood causing Lucas to smirk and playfully push him.
