"And he just left Dylan!" Maya complained to her friend over skype "I haven't spoken to him since and it's been a week! I knew this would happen."
Ever since her encounter with Lucas he had been avoiding her. Infact it seemed like everyone was avoiding her. Not that she cared but this invisibility was taking a toll on her and worst Skylar continued to ask to see Lucas and since Maya never gotten hid number. She had no way of contacting him. So not knowing what to do she had decided to Facetime Dylan. Who wasn't paying attention as she painted her toes
"Dylan!" Maya groaned at her friend who was focusing on her little toe "Will you please pay attention and help me out!"
Dylan looked up at her friend with a coyley smile and rolled her eyes dramatically closing the bottle. Wiggling her toes the taller girl stretched out on her bed wiggling her toes "Maya Hart, Don't you know anything? He told you that he loved you and you basically pushed him away. I'd be pissed to if a hot bee-itchy like you turned me down. I think you're scared."
"I am not scared." Maya told her slightly annoyed "I'm thinking of Skylar's well being."
"Oh yeah?" Dylan challenged wiggling her eyebrows suggestively "So you let your middle school crush tell you he finally loves you. Wants to be with you and Kyky but because he has a girlfriend you think it's best for him to be in her life but not be in her life because you love him but don't love him?" Blinking at her own theory, Dylan smirked shaking her long auburn hair "You're right you're in denial."
Maya glared at her friend "Why did I call you?"
"Because I'm brilliant and you love me." Dylan smirked with and playful wink "I bet you think about your little cowboy all the time."
"Dylan!" Maya blushed and glanced over at the door that was opened so she could listen out for Skylar "Shut up!"
"Oooo, you do." Dylan sung causing them both to laugh.
"I miss you so much." Maya whispered to her friend.
"I miss you to," Dylan agreed "I miss Kyky more though."
Maya rolled her eyes "Jeez thanks."
"Hey she didn't move a bazillion miles away. Do you know how much a plane ticket cost? Come back." Dylan whined gripping her hand at the computer screen towards Maya causing her to laugh softly.
"You know I can't."
Not wanting her friend to be sad, Dylan smirked "I can't wait to go to the great New York. If I knew how bad the boys are down there would've stowed away in your bag."
"Hes not from here," Maya smiled at her friend though the topic was still on her mind. Looking down at her hands she played with her thumbs "Has... Has he um said anything?"
Dylan quieted for a moment staring at her friend and looked away off screen If Lucas is willing to help with Skylar then let him, Maya. Let him babysit, take her for a day. Maybe even spend the night. You aren't her only parent now Maya." Dylan told her changing the topic.
"She just met him Dylan. I dont think that's going to happen anytime soon. She doesn't know him yet. What if something goes wrong and she misses me?" Maya began and frowned at the memory of a certain chestnut hair girl "He has a girlfriend. I don't know if he told her about Skylar but-"
"She isn't him Maya." Dylan whispered softly. Her voice changing from playfulness to seriousness "He's a part of your life now."
"I know but-" Maya tried.
"Butts are what you sit on. Now, are you going to continue on BMW till the kids forty or? Are you going to be the Maya Hart I know and love and do the right thing?" Dylan asked raising an eyebrow causing Maya to smile. Dylan had such a potty mouth that she had to use code when Skylar was around and though she wasn't in the room. She still kept the cursing to a minimum. Like BMW; Bitchin, Moaning, and Whining.
