A/N Does anyone else find this song sad? It might just be me. I guess it's not just the song, it's the memories that come with it. I remember sitting on a counter at the church I used to go to and my friend showing me this, I remember showing her song to. Same thing with the Cup Song, I remember trying to show my two friends how to do the thing with the cups. I don't mean to rant or anything or try to get pity, but man, I really miss my friends. I only had three, but I miss them so much. We moved churches, and one of my friends moved away. It's been over a year since I've seen them. It's been over a year since I've had a friend.
I'm sorry about that, I'm just really missing them right now, especially the friend that moved away. I told him alot of things, but I still should have told him more. Again, I'm not asking for pity or anything, I've just been thinking about them alot recently and kinda needed to get that out.
The song is Pompeii by Bastille. I hope you enjoy the chapter.
Oh btw I'm making a time skip that's about four days, because that last chapter was kind of boring, so now it is June 30th, if you want me to write chapters for the past 4 days, I can.
I wake up in the fort, I've been sleeping in here every night recently. It's peaceful out here. I check the time, 6:50. I should still get up, that way I won't have to run to school. (Incase you're wondering, school starts at 7:45 and ends around 1:30)
I do my morning routine. since I woke up earlier, I take a short shower. Then I put on my clothes, put my hair up in a ponytail, put on my flip-flops, grab my bag, and put Tyler's hoodie on. I've been wearing it everyday, except for yesterday because I put it in the wash. It's sort of comforting, so I've been wearing it a lot.
I head to school, and go to my first class. Which is Language Arts. I'm terrible at Language, History, Science, and Math. Since it's summer, we don't have that many classes. Math isn't as bad as the others, I can actually do it, but I'm still not good at it.
For language, we have a quiz today. I studied just about the entire night, so I understand thing a little bit better. Once I finished, I brought it up to the teacher, and I sat back down. About 10 minutes later everyone was done, and Mr Adams was handing out our papers so we could see our score.
When he reached me, he gave me a little smile. He handed me the paper, I got a B-. 'Yes!' I thought. It might not be very good, but it's better than my normal C-. The bell goes off and everyone gets up and leaves, me being that last one getting up as usual.
Mr Adams stopped me. "Good job on the quiz Abby, you're getting better." He said. I smiled and nodded before leaving. Then I went to my next class, which is History.
~Time skip to lunch (Again)~
I did the normal thing of sitting down at a table, a group comes and takes my lunch, someone hold my arms causing bruises and someone hits my head, then they go to there table. I was about to go to the library as usual when my phone makes a noise. I open it and see I got a text.
Tyler:Hey Abby! We were wondering if you wanted to come over for like a week or so, this week, we understand if you don't want to come over, especially for a week, and if you can't come this week since the Fourth of July is this week, it's okay, we could reschedule or something.
I laugh a little at how big the text is. 'My parents probably won't let me go, but I can still ask' I think. So I go to my mom in my contacts list.
Me: Hey mom, can I go over to a friends house for a week?
I cross my fingers and hope and pray that she lets me go.
Mom: Not having you around for a week? Sounds like paradise.
Me:So is that a yes?
Mom:I don't care.
I jump up a little. For once she's letting me do something. I quickly go back to in my contacts list to text Tyler when the bell goes off. 'I'll have to type quick I guess' I think.
Me: My mom says it's okay! Are you going to pick me up?
I quickly rush to my last class so that I'm not late. I get in and sit down at the back when my phone makes a noise.
Tyler: That's great! Yeah I'll be picking you up, what time should I come by?
Me: Around 2-2:30 should work.
Tyler: See you there then!
I smile, suddenly getting really excited. But I still have to make it through Math. The teacher walks in and starts the lesson. He show's us how to do long division with decimals. For summer school, they usually just go over things we learned during the school year, so I already know how to do the division.
I finish answering the questions on the paper and put my pencil down. The bell rings and people start getting up and leaving, putting their papers on the teachers desk and grabbing the homework.
After everyone else has left, I get up put my paper on the teachers desk and grab the homework. I smile at him and say bye. As soon as I'm outside I start running to my house. When I get home I put clothes and everything else I need into my bag, including my homework. My arms are hurting a little more then usually, so I put some cream and bandages on.
By the time I'm done and waiting outside, it's 2:15, so I listen to music and read until I hear a vehicle pulling into the drive way. I look up and see that it's Tyler. He get's out and walks towards me. We smile at each other, he helps me off of the ground and we hug.
"Are you ready to go?" He asks me. I nod. "Let's go then!" He says. We get into his car and head to there house and decide to grab pizza on the way.
A/N Hello! I know the ending of this chapter was kind of odd, but whatever. I'm running out of things to say at the end here.... cheese.
