The song is a nightcore version of Losing Your Memory by Ryan Star. Enjoy the chapter!
I slipped into the backseat of the car. Tyler was taking me to school and he and Josh were going to meet up with Mark. I looked out the window and sighed as Tyler backed out of the driveway. Josh turned on the radio and Heathens was playing. I smiled. Josh changed the station. "Hey! Turn it back, I was listening to it!" I quickly said. Josh sighed before turning the station back. I sat back into the seat, slightly singing along. He turned the volume down a bit, but I didn't even notice. I was too busy singing.
Once the song finished, I looked back up and saw Josh was smiling at me. I looked at him confused. "You have a nice voice, you should sing more!" Josh said, still smiling. Tyler nodded, also with a smile. "You heard me? I didn't think I was that loud." I said. They just laughed a bit. 'They're lying. You sound terrible, nobody likes you or your singing.' Echo said. I mentally sighed, knowing it was right.
We arrived at the school and Tyler handed me my lunch. I figured he would just keep making them, so I stopped. Less work for me. I grabbed it along with my bag and got out of the car. Tyler told me that he might be a little late, so I'd be waiting for a bit to get picked up. We said our goodbye's and I headed across the parking lot and into the school.
I got to my class and there were already a couple people sitting down. I walked over to my usual seat in the back and sat down. It was about five more minutes before the rest of the kids and the teacher arrived.
Once the class ended, I got up and handed my homework over to the teacher before leaving the room. I walked the halls, trying not to get trampled over by the other kids who were trying to get to their next class as well. I managed to get to my class without getting stomped on or pushed. I sat down and pulled out papers from my bag. A girl I had never seen sat down in the seat next to me with a sigh. She crossed her arms over her chest and started to quietly talk to herself. Then she turned to me. "Right? I mean, why would they do that?" She said. I just stared at her. She started complaining about, well, everything. Her curly dirty blonde hair shaking up and down as she talked. She had round black glasses, almost making her blue eyes look bigger. She was pale, but with a ton of makeup.
Thankfully, the teacher came in and the girl stopped talking. The teacher told us that we were going to be watching a short film, and that we would have to write an essay about it. Some people groaned, some sighed. She pulled down a projector screen and rolled a small cart with a projector over. It took a few minutes to set up some things, but the film finally started.

I waited at the doors to the cafeteria, watching all the other students flow in. I watched as they took out there food or their money as they went in. How they talk or laughed with their friends. How some of them hurried to a table, books piled up in the their arms. Until someone blocked my view. And I knew exactly who it was without having to see their face. I sighed. I handed over the bag with food in it. One of them took, but then threw it on the ground, stomping on it. "We're tired of the same thing every day. We want something new. Something better." The one in the middle said, very close to my face. I almost gagged at the smell of his breath. "Did you hear me? I said I want something better!" He practically yelled, making me flinch. "I-I don't have anything else." I said. "Did you hear that boys?" He said to the other guys surrounding me. They all smiled and cracked their knuckles.
One of them threw the first punch, I tried to dodge it, but that didn't work. Another punch was thrown, that one sent me flying to the ground. They all moved around me, surrounding me till I couldn't see anything but them. They started doing their normal thing. One punched, another kicked. One kicked, another punched. It felt like it was never going to end. Until I was lying on the ground, blood pouring from my nose. Everything stung. It hurt so bad, I almost felt numb.
