Chapter Fourteen

A/N I'm not going to put some big thing here again, just going to get to the chapter. The song is iRobot by Jon Bellion. Enjoy the chapter!

"Do you need any help?" I asked Jenna, who was starting to make lunch. "Well, if you want it to be made a certain way, then yes." She said. I nodded. "Have you made this before?" She asked me. I nodded again. "Here, let me make the chicken, and you can make the rice. I've never really been able to make rice correctly so.." I said. Jenna nodded and then started filling a pot with water.

I cut the chicken into small pieces and put it into a pan on the stove with salt and pepper. After a little bit I turned the chicken over for it to cook on the other side. While the chicken was cooking, I put soft tortilla shells in the microwave.

About five minutes later, lunch was ready. We sat down, prayed, and ate. After lunch I went outside and sat on the deck, just looking up at the clouds. A few minutes later, I hear the back door open and someone sits by me. I just continue to look up, it kind of reminds me of March To The Sea.

The person sighs. I looked over and saw that it was Josh. "It's very pretty out here, isn't it." He said. I nodded. He looked over at me. "How old are you turning?" He asked. "Thirteen." I said. He nodded. We talked for a little bit before going inside.

~Time skip to after dinner~

"Alright, I think it's time for cake!" Jenna said. "What kind of cake did you choose?" Tyler asked me. I smiled. "An ice cream cake." I answered. He smiled and nodded. Jenna brought out the cake, with thirteen candles. The cake was to hard for the candles to go in it, so we had to put frosting on the top for the candles to go on.

They sang happy birthday, then we cut the cake and ate it. I didn't like how much food I was having to eat today, but I didn't really have a choice. After we finished, Josh and Tyler told me to go sit in the living room, and then went down to the basement.

I was confused, but sat down in the living room. A couple minutes later they came up the stairs with a couple bags and rapped things in their hands. I groaned. I realized where they had gone this morning. They both smiled at me, then set the things down on the coffee table in front of the couch.

Josh handed me a bag. "Here, open this one first." He said, still smiling. I sighed. "You guys really didn't have to do this." I said. "Of course we had too! It's your birthday, we're not just going to not celebrate it." Tyler said. I nodded. I wasn't used to having this kind of attention. If I got attention, it would be the negative kind.

I opened the bag and looked inside it. I pulled whatever the thing was out and saw that it was a Twenty One Pilots shirt. I smiled. "I heard you talking about how you wanted more merch, so we got you some." Josh said. "We didn't really know your size, so we kind of had to guess." Tyler said. I smiled at them and thanked them. "There's still something in there." Josh said. I looked in the bag again and saw that there was a Few/Proud/Emotional necklace and a Stay Alive bracelet. I thanked Tyler and Josh again and put on the necklace and bracelet.

I opened the rest of the bags. I got a new phone, one that is not a flip phone, I got a Doctor Who cup, an itunes giftcard and earbuds.

Then Tyler handed me something that was rapped instead of in a bag. I unrapped it and opened the cardboard box to see that it was a ukulele. I was so surprised and happy. I was smiling so much. "You said the other one didn't work properly, so I got you a new one." Tyler said a little nervously. "D-do you like it?" He asked. I looked at him and smiled even more. I got up and hugged him. "I love it so much! thank you!" I said. He laughed a little bit and hugged me back.

I let go of him and sat back down on the couch. Tyler sat down next to me. "I can teach you how to play, if you would like." He said. I nodded. "If it wouldn't be too much trouble." I said. He smiled. For the next hour or so, he showed me how to tune it, and how to play a few chords.

After that, Josh helped me set up my phone, and then put his phone number in. Tyler and Jenna did the same, then added my phone number to their phones. I looked at the clock and saw that it was 11:58. I got up and stretched.

"I'm going to go to bed now, goodnight." I said and then hugged them and thanked them again for the gifts. I brought everything upstairs and set them on the desk. I got ready for bed and laid down, actually falling asleep for once.

A/N Hello! I hope you liked this chapter, I kind of did. I'll probably update again in an hour or so, depends on if something happens to where I can't or I forget. But, there will definitely be more chapters today.
