A/N TYLER WHY DO YOU HAVE TO MAKE EVERYTHING SO HARD?! Seriously, I'm ACTUALLY practicing my ukulele, and I tried to play screen since it's supposedly one of the easiest songs on the uke, well the 'easiest' song is still REALLY hard. So I'm frustrated and my fingers hurt. PLUS, Truce on the piano is really hard too. He just has to make every fricking song so hard to play. But I want to thank Elise (even though she won't see this) for making awesome covers and tutorials, they're amazing and very helpful. So if you're looking for song tutorials for the uke or guitar, or just want to listen to covers or something, go check her out, her name is Elise Ecklund.
So, while you're reading, enjoy House Of Gold (Live In A Couple Places.) Do I even have to put who it's by?
Enjoy the chapter!
I rolled over and opened my eyes. I looked over to the clock. '7:32' It read. 'I'm going to be late!' I thought. I rolled out of bed and tried to stand up, not putting any pressure on the sprained one. As carefully as possible, I limped over to the closet. Then I remembered that I don't have me bag, or any of my clothes. I heard a knock on the door. "Can I come in?" I heard Josh say. "Yeah." I called back. He opened the door and walked in. "You aren't supposed to be walking." He said. "I didn't walk on this foot." I said, pointing to my left foot. He just shook his head and mumbled something. He smiled a bit. "You better be glad that I was the one who came in and not Tyler." Josh said. I smiled and went over to the bed and sat down. Josh sat down next to me.
"So, how are you holding up?" He asked me. I shrugged. " Okay, I guess." I said, mumbling it towards the end. He didn't say anything. "So, am I not going to school today or something?" I asked. He shook his head. "Not Today, no." He said. "Anyways, I was supposed to tell you that breakfast is ready." He said. "I'm not hungry." I said, lying down on the bed. He gave me a confused look with a hint of worry. "Are you sure? You barely even ate yesterday." He said. I nodded. "I'm sure." I said, and he left the room.
I thought about what Tyler had said yesterday. I'm going to have to go to an orphanage or something. 'Did you think they would take you in? Did you honestly think that they would want you? That they like you? You are so stupid.' The voice said. (I should probably give it a name or something.) I didn't know what to think. I didn't really think about it much until now. All I know is, it's right. I'm so stupid, and fat, and worthless. I'm a coward. I don't blame my parents for what they did, I deserved it. Besides, why would they want someone like me. I should just leave, no one would care. Everyone would be better off without me.
I sighed and put my head in my hands. I didn't know what to do. I heard a creak and looked over at the door. I saw Tyler standing in the doorway, looking at me with a face full of pity and worry. I forced myself to smile, he just kept staring. He walked over to me and sat down on the bed. He sighed. "You okay?" He asked me. I nodded. "I think so." I said. There wasn't any truth in that. He didn't believe me, but didn't push it. We sat there in silence for a while, just staring at the floor, sometimes looking over at each other. I sighed. "No, I'm not okay. I'm not in the slightest bit okay." I said. He looked over at me, and pulled me into a hug. "I know." He said. I wanted to break down into tears, but I didn't. "You didn't" He paused for a moment. "You didn't hurt yourself at all, did you?" Tyler asked me. I shook my head. "I said I would tell you if I did, remember?" I said. He nodded. "Did you want to?" He asked. I paused for moment, then nodded. He hugged me tighter. "Thank you for not doing it." He whispered. I nodded again, then hugged him back.
We sat there for a little bit, them Tyler let go of me and got up. "Want to go downstairs and do something?" He asked me. I shrugged. "Such as?" I said. This time he shrugged. I chuckled a bit and got up. "Hey, no walking remember?" He said with a bit of a smile. I huffed and glared at him. He just smiled. He turned around and I got on his back. He went downstairs and outside. "So what are we planning on doing?" I asked him. "I haven't figured that out yet." He said. I got an idea. "Set me down here, I have an idea." I said. Tyler set me down on the ground and I pushed him into the pool. "Hey! What was that for?" He said. I shrugged. "I told you I had an idea." I said while smiling. He rolled his eyes and got out, soaking wet. (Obviously) "You better be glad you have a cast, cause if you didn't, you would be in there right now." He said, pointing to the pool. I just stared up at him, smiling.
"I'm gonna go change, then we can do something." He said, then walked inside. I just sat in the grass and played with it till he got back. He came back in dry clothes, but his hair was still pretty wet. He laid down in the grass next to me and looked up at the sky. I did the same thing. We sat there looking at the sky and talking for a while, when Josh came out and laid down next to Tyler. "So, when are we going to get my clothes?" I asked. Tyler and Josh both gasped at the same time. "Duh! How did we forget?!" Tyler said. "I'm so sorry, we'll get your clothes today." Josh said. They both had the same expression. "It's okay guys, I just at least want a different outfit for tomorrow." I said. Their expressions didn't change. I couldn't help but smile. Then their faces changed to confusion. "You both have the same expression and it's adorable and hilarious." I said while laughing. They just shook their heads and looked at each other, then up at the sky.
~Time skip thingy~
We had gotten my bag which had some of my clothes, my homework, and my phone. I finished putting away my clothes, then laid down on the bed and played on my phone for a while. I heard a knock and saw Jenna. She smiled at me. "Dinner's ready." She said. I nodded and got up. She walked over to me and helped me downstairs, making sure I didn't use my left foot. I sat down at the table. "I could've helped or set the table or something." I said. She shook her head. "You aren't supposed to be walking." She said. "So I've heard." I said. Tyler and Josh came in, pretty wet. "Why are you wet?" I asked them. "It's raining outside." Josh said, pointing to the window. I looked out and saw that it was pouring. Hm, wonder why I didn't notice.
They all sat down, Josh prayed, and we ate dinner, me not eating much. After dinner, Tyler and Jenna left to go to the store. "So, what do you want to do?" Josh asked me. "We could watch tv or something, I don't know." I said. I've tried doing other things, but Tyler and Josh have said that I should just sit around or something most of the time. So watching tv sounds the best, better than board games. He helped me over to the living room and we sat down. "What do you want to watch?" He asked me. "Well, since you have Roku, you can get the YouTube app, so we can watch something on there, I guess." I said. (If you can, you should totally get Roku, it's amazing.) He nodded and went to YouTube. "What channel?" He asked me. I smiled. "MrWoofless." I said. He nodded again and went to his channel, then gave me the remote. "You can pick a video." He said. I took the remote and chose a video.
A/N Salutations! I started writing this at like 9 am, and I'm finishing this at 1:30 pm. I blame Supernatural and my siblings. But at least you get a chapter. This is the first week in a while that I updated every day that I said I would. So, that's pretty cool. Anyways, hopefully you have a good weekend! I'll see you in the next chapter, hopefully on Monday, Bye!
