Andre's POV:

"Mum I'm home.", I said walking into our apartment.

Right she wasn't going to answer me because she wasn't at home. Even when she is, all she did was work. The same thing was with dad. He just dropped me off at school and picked me up. We didn't talk during the 10-minute journey. It felt as if I had lost my parents along with Bella.

Since I had nothing better to do, I took out my phone and texted Natalia. She was the only friend in the entire city. Her friends were pretty cool but it was going to take some time for me to adjust. They were kind enough to let me sit with them during lunch.

'I'm driving right now. I'll talk to you later' She replied.

Tossing my phone on my bed, I went to the kitchen to make myself a sandwich. I guess I could catch up on Breaking Bad episodes I missed while we were moving.

I got bored of watching Breaking Bad after five episodes. I guess I could call Natalia.

"Hey, Andre." She said picking up the phone.

"Whatchya doing?" I asked her.

"I'm kinda busy. Mind if I call you later?"She said. There was something she wasn't telling me. She seemed pretty distracted.

"Come on please tell me. I'm bored." I said.

"I can't tell you right now. I'll call you later." She said before hanging up. Yup, she was definitely hiding something.

I decided to call Alyssa. Maybe she knew what Natalia was up to.

"Hey, Andre. What's up?" She said picking up the phone.

"Nothing much. What about you?" I asked her

"I was just getting ready to go watch Natalia's match." She said. A match?

"What match?" I asked her. I knew it wasn't any sport. She hated sports. But then again people change.

"She has an underground fighting match." She said "You could come with me if you want. I'll pick you up." She offered, I sensed an uneasy in her voice as if she wasn't sure about her offer.

"Yeah sure. I'll send you my address." I said before hanging up. So she's an underground fighter? That explains the bruises I saw on her arm.

By the time I was done changing, Alyssa was downstairs. I texted mum and dad before leaving. Not that they cared or anything but I still felt like I should.

'I'm going to Natalia's place. I'll be back soon.'

The fight was at some abandoned warehouse at the edge of town. I guess Alyssa was some kind of VIP because we didn't have to stand in line to get inside like the rest of the people. She walked up straight to the bouncer and showed him her ID.

"What about him?" He said eyeing me up and down.

"He's with me." She glared at him. They had a two minute straight stare down before he finally moved aside for us.
