Ryder's POV:

"Ryder! This the fifth time you've zoned out!" Mum said. I looked at her.

"What?" I asked her. She stood in front of me with her hands crossed over her chest and her lips in a thin line. She was pissed.

"It's that girl again, isn't it?" She asked me.

"No. What were you talking about?" I asked her. Of course I was thinking about Natalia, but I didn't want her to know.

"I was saying that Sam and Rachel are deciding to move here." As soon as she said that, choked on my cereal and started coughing.

"W..what?!" I looked at her incredulously.

"Yeah. They're coming here next week and will stay with us until they get their own place." She said.

"But it was so hard getting rid of her the last time. Now she's coming here forever." I said. Great. Just what I needed.

"You shouldn't be worried about Rachel. You have Natalia now." She said. Something was off about her tone. I thought she liked Natalia. I mean she talked to her, showed her my embarrasing pictures and even asked her to stay for lunch. What was the matter now?

"Mum, is everything okay?" I asked her cautiously. She sighed.

"Yeah everything's fine. It's just a little hard for me to accept that you like Natalia." She said. So she belived in the stereotypes too.

"She's not a bad person. Especially under all those tattoos and scars. Sure she drinks, she smokes, parties and even swears, but I do all of that too." I said. She nodded.

"I know. And that's why I can't point her out. You do the same. And I know she's the same girl you went to visit at the hospital." She said. I looked at her with my mouth agape. How did she know that?

"I know because Aaron told me. I thought you went to his house after finding out about your dad, but you went to her instead. Even though she couldn't be there for you." She said softly. I was going to kill Aaron.

"I'm willing to accept her because I know she's not a bad person. That she cares about you and makes you happy. That's all I want." She said as she looked away. I know if was painful for her. I got up and hugged her.

"Thank you mum." I said. She smiled softly at me.

"Okay. Now finish your breakfast. You have to drop Sarah and Ben to school today." She said.

Jason and Flyn were at the entrance. Both of them looked worried.

"What's wrong?" I asked them as I walked up to them. They immeditely snapped up their heads to look at me.

"Why weren't you picking up your phone?" Jason demanded. I checked my phone to see it was on mute. There were so many missed calls from Jason and Flyn.

"What the hell happened?" I asked them as I tried to walk into school. They blocked my path.

"You shouldn't go in there." Flyn said.

"What the hell? Get out of my way." I said to him. I pushed passed him and walked into school. I stopped when I saw the view in front of me. Natalia stood in from of her locker. She wasn't just standing there. She was furious. So furious she was shaking. I ran up to her. Alyssa motioned for me to stay away. Everyone stared at her with fear in their eyes. I looked at her locker. My eyes went dark as soon as I read what was written on it. Someone had written 'Ryder's new fuck toy' on it. Natalia faced me. There was a storm in her eyes.
