Ryder's POV:

(One week later)

It had been one week since the race. One week since I last talked to Natalia. I had a purpose behind that deal which is why I let her win the race. It was all part of my plan. After the race I didn't talk to her, just as I promised. Hell, I didn't even look at her at school. And when I did I would always find her looking back at me. I smirked at myself. Just what I wanted. I was going to drive her cray the way she drove me crazy.

I had done enough for now. Kissing her. Teasing her. Now I just had to wait for a reaction.

I was on my way back home from Jason's house. Rachel and her mother were supposed to be gone by now. I pulled into the drive way.

"Ryder! You're finally home!" Said someone excitedly as I walked through the door. I froze in my tracks when I heard that voice. It definitely wasn't mum or Sarah. The only other person it could be was Rachel. I turned around to see an extremely happy Rachel standing behind me. What the fuck? What was she doing here? She was supposed to be gone. She ran up to me and wrapped me in a bone crushing hug. I pried her off me.

"Rachel, what are you doing here? Weren't you supposed to leave today?" I asked her. I sounded the least bit amused. I actually sounded dissappointed.

"Well, I was supposed to leave, but how could I leave with out meeting you. Your mum told us you were out of town for the week, so mum let me stay here for another week. Isn't that great?" She said happily. Fuck no. I looked at my mum with a 'are you fucking serious look'. She looked back with a weak smile.

"I was supposed to tell you, but Rachel wanted it to be a surprise." She said. Great. What the fuck was I supposed to do now?

"How was your trip Ryder?" She asked me.

"You know what? It was so fucking great I think I'm going to go back." I deadpanned. The smile fell off her face. But it didn't stay off. Soon she was grinning from ear to ear again. Didn't this girl take a hint? I didn't want her here. My mum cleared her throat.

"Ryder, language." She said sternly. Was she serious right now? All she had to do was send me a goddamn text saying 'Rachel is staying for another week.' That's all she had to do.

"Can I talk to you mum?" I said as I pointed towards her room. I went to the room and she followed close behind.

"Mum, what the hell? Why didn't you tell me?" I said to her, aggressively whispering.

"Calm down Ryder. I tried to, but she wouldn't let me. Besides she seems to be acting pretty normal this time." She said to me. She was acting normal now but I knew she hadn't changed one bit. I could see the craziness in her eyes.

"And where is aunt Sam?" I asked her.

"She left. Rachel's going to stay." She said. Just fucking great. Now she was going to make me run errands for her.

"It's just one week Ryder. I'm sure she won't do anything too crazy." Said my mum before leaving. She was right. But I still couldn't trust Rachel. I'm just going to keep myself far far away from her.
